Yeah, I remember that guy. He gets really outraged whenever anyone talks bad about Wynne. I mean, REALLY outraged. He once said how it was so sad to watch Wynne hate that it "brought down even the most resolute souls" (or something like that).

It is funny just how much more hostile Wynne is if you didn't talk to her at Ostagar. If you threaten her she says that you're no match for her since she has defeated every demon that has tried to trespass the barrier... by herself. So I guess the other mages just stood there looking pretty.

Of course she'd say that!  She's the same b*tch then as she is in fade when she tells the Sloth Demon that "We found each other in this place."  We, my *ss!

Exactly!  I ranted about that last month.  It's my number one pet peeve!

I did used to like Wynne for awhile during my first playthrough.  But my tolerance for her diminished with each warden since then.  This is the first time I've killed her right away.  Alistair seemed really against it, but I didn't get an approval loss.

I did Orzammar first.  I think the deepstalkers are organizing some sort of gymnastic show.



And then there's this guy.  I know ... I know ... he's the best king for Orzammar.  But giving him the crown always makes me feel like I need a bath afterwards, I feel so dirty.



Here's Min trying hard to remain stoic while she watches Harrowmount get taken away for execution.



My take on Harrowmount is that he never wanted to be king.  He was just doing this out of loyalty to Endrin and a promise made at his deathbed.  The guy is in over his head, and would make an ineffective king.  But I think he means well, and I hate it that he gets executed.

At least Rica's happy, and Min got to introduce her to Alistair.



I'm still not sure where I'm going with this character.  She was really meant to end up with Leliana.

She has the face, hair, skin, and robes it looks like done, but still working on the voice and dialogue.

Tigress, I agree with that completely. I usually play it that most of my wardens like her but the more I play the more I think I dislike her. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that there is really no variety to Wynne no matter what origin you play so it's the same lectures playthrough after playthrough and I have gotten tired of hearing it.

There is reference to the loser being hauled off and made into a golem in the toolset if you keep the anvil.



Also some of my PC's ended up going really far off like Dain (DN) was never meant to end with anyone, or my angsty Dalish Amerra was supposed to be with Alistair and ended up being with Zevran.

Dragon Age can really shift your PCs around on you.

Ack!  That's awful.  I'm glad I convinced Branka to destroy it and herself.  I would've felt awful if Harrowmount had been made into a golem.  But maybe I might save that fate for Bhelen in another playthrough.

I don't think that would be possible considering you have to kill Bhelen on the spot if he doesn't get the crown. Unless they can turn a dead dwarf into a golem.

Yes, it's funny like that. My CEF made for Zevran had gone "Can I haz Alistair? Can I? Can I? Pleeeeaaaaaaseeee? on me and ran happily squeeing to him after one night with Zevran. Heh.

And elven Wynne? Really? Wait...do you hear that scratching noise? I think...it's Lenya sharpening her blades for such heresy. So you better run. NOW.

Great screenies!  Love the Deep Stalkers and Rica.  Speaking of Rica, did you ever wonder why SHE got picked to be the one to try and land a noble?  I mean, she's pretty and all, but your own Warden is prettier.  I remember thinking that the first time I played that Origin -- I was like, "and what am I, chopped liver?"

And I know exactly what you mean about Bhelen.  Everyone but my DN now make him King and I hate having to do it.

QFT.  As I've said before that's the exact reason so many of my non-human PCs fall for him.

@Yankee - Yeah, my Wynne hate grew over time. I think for me, the biggest reason is that the PCs replies to her nosy advice are so limited. If for example, as a noble, the PC could remind her that they probably know more about leadership than she ever will, it might help. We just can't tell her off good enough.

QFT.  As I've said before that's the exact reason so many of my non-human PCs fall for him. 

My bad, he does sort of comment on the female dwarf being a dwarf, but it's not negative, just shock that a dwarf is joining the Wardens to fight darkspawn when they can do so in Orz. But even then it's not him judging them as not being human, just "So...why join the Wardens when you can do it at home and not the whole tainted Warden thing?"

Of course his reaction is amusing with the DC when he asks about your experience with darkspawn.

I was never able to kill Wynn because of the children. Bringing Mori in on the conversation doesn't help because I just can't bring myself to agree with her that the mages should die because they are in the circle. I hate being forced to bring her to the fade. I wish I could kill her there, when she starts going on about "and where were you". I think I might use the line with Cullen to do her in next time.  You should also be able to kill her in Ostagar when she starts flirting with your BF right in front of your face.
