Please...

Send Drunkenstair a note that reads:

"Duncan never loved you", and he would curl up into a ball and cry for a week.

Also this coming game is going to be Alistair's lowest moment I think.

He is ending up a hardened drunk, who loses the woman he loves who will run into Zevran's arms, then make Loghain do the DR.

Hide your booze people here comes Uber-Drunkistair.

Sometimes I miss WoW, but mostly not.  I figure, if I can't even get excited about beta testing Cataclysm, it's time to stop playing.  I miss playing with friends, but that's about it.

DA still hasn't gotten boring for me.  It helps to have Alistair around.

Hey, where's Storm been?

Yeah, DA has still been interesting, if only because of my FF and my tenative forays into the toolset. And Alistair always makes it worth it.

I think Storm mentioned having some more surgeries now that the halo came off.

Hope she and cme are doing okay.

Hawke : So?

Alistair: Duncan was like a father to me for those six months! :crying:

Alistair: DONT SAY THAT!!!!
Varric: What loghainduncandalishgirlwhoneverlovedyou?
Alistair:<Runs off sobbing>
Hawke: That was cold.

I hope that Gaider does throw it in people's faces just how broken Alistair does become.

Though I lack a lot of respect for any person who puts their feelings over the fate of a nation, and their duty they swore to uphold. But thats just me, I guess leaving a nation to be devoured because you lost a person you knew for six months entitles you to that.

I think it's a culmination of a lot of things that he's lost by that point. It's not just Duncan.

No, Drunkenstair is going to be cold, numb and heartless. Lady Hawk is going to tear down his walls.

Except that he constantly goes on about Duncan, and his lines if he is leaving are about Duncan.
Duncan this Duncan that, DUNCANDUNCANDUNCAN sodding Duncan.

I get that he thinks he owes him something, but to abandon what Duncan fought for to prove a point is well bad.

Makes perfect sense to me, although I'm equally sure that he'd be deeply regretful later on, but we've ridden that merry-go-round too many times for it to be worth a return visit, I think.

What I don't like about his Duncan fit is that he thumps you hard if you persist about finding Fergus in Lothering. Just saying. ;)  Or being exiled from Orzammar if you're a dwarf.

Its also funny how he begs you to help him save Fereldan if you dig your heels in.
He says its too important to leave behind or do nothing, yet its ok for him to leave.

It's one of the very few times he and Morrigan agree on something. The Fergus part. On the Orzammar part when you ask where it is when playing a dwarf, then Morrigan calls Ali a fool because you have never been to there from the surface.

No just pointing out something that I find hypocritical about a charachter.
If it offends you, ignore it.

A message holds no power unless you respond to it.
Besides KoP, Zjarcal, and others all point out the same thing that bugs them as well.

Yea, I've gotten that but I don't think I've ever gotten anything from him that  I would call "thumping you hard."

I just played over the scene in my game, Mori was the only one thumping

Edit: When I said "yea" above, that was "yea, I agree with Yakee", not "yea, he thumps".  I re-read that, it wasn't clear.

Ok, so if I go on the Leliana thread and go on and on about what a pathetic nutter she is for attacking people over a stupid ashtray, that's good with you?  Somehow I don't think so.
