Oghren: Hey Pike-Twirler! Here, have a snort of this. *hands Alistair a flask*
Alistair: *takes a swig from the flask and spits it out into the fire* Maker's Breath! what is in this?
Oghren: Oh, it's a new brew I just made, hehe. Figured since we found all of that lyrium in the tower, might as well make good use of it.
Alistair: You what? You can't do that! Can you? I mean, how does that even work?
Oghren: Sod it! Anything can be made into spirits. Even Morrigan liked it. Started giggling about getting you back or something.
Alistair: Getting me back? Did she say what for?
Oghren: Nope, just something about she did not look like her mother.
Alistair: Well, if she had any of that stuff I have nothing to worry about. She's probably passed out in her tent. Oh, by the way, did you notice a draft just now?
Oghren: No, why? We are outdoors you know...

@Tupp - I haven't finished writing my fanfic, but she did end up as Queen Cousland in my canon playthrough.
Sarah - I may not have been clear, it was Morrigan and Wynne who were drinking it while healing her. Marlana isn't a mage.
And I've always seen love as something of an addiction, not that its a bad thing exactly, but some of the effects seem the same.
Edit: Oh Rage, you are so bad, yet so funny.

Reika, brilliant. That piece showed a deeper part of his old templar side, and more background to what he says when you free Irminric in Howe's dungeon. I like how you explained that not only had he heard about the addiction, but had seen it before. *bows*

So out of curiousity...what Chantry was Alistair trained at? There was one at Redcliffe certainly but that doesn't seem far enough away to keep Isolde happy and Alistair mentioned that the Grand Cleric herself - located in Denerim - was peeved Duncan wanted to recruit him. On the other hand, it's possible that he was only in Denerim for the big competition.
He was also present at a Harrowing. So either he was at the Circle Tower. Or his Chantry had a field trip to the tower, for the kids to see how they are going to spend the rest of their awesome lives.

So for the writing listening to Viking Death Metal (Amon Amarath) while writing is quite helpful.

Yay! It's been too long since we've had a Bob story!

Quite frankly I'm surprised we don't see more runaway templars, since like with Iminric, it's implied that not all templars are younglings raised by the Chantry.
Edit: Tigress, poor Ali.

KoP, have you been busy downloading mods? You've gotta check out the scene with Morrigan waiting for the warden to return after confronting Flemeth. I really like that moment.
Terra's mod, the Morrigan restoration?
I downloaded it already
Now I am trying to export items to my inventory.

But I had fun trying to make a new char that looked enough like Alistair without the use of the Toolset. Took a few tries and then wading through several cutscenes in an effort to get a good face shot of him.

Hrm. *ponders* Not quite sure how to tackle this one, to go AU or not. I actually have a one shot of "What if Alistair never became a Warden?" that I could do a second part to. Is that breaking the rules? Should I just do this prompt as the second part and link people to the first, or can I use both?
I'd say do both, give us the whole package.

Yeah...that is why I was asking if lyrium has to be the drug 'used', so to speak. *still trying to figure this prompt out*
Anyway I have a similar idea to that which will evolve in the more smutty regions, I think.
Rage that was funny. Me likes some lulzy Oghren/ Alistair convos *is writing one right now in her main story*
