Can "racism" against a fantasy race be considered actual racism?

And I lost my religion a long time ago, so I'm immune that stuff. :innocent:

Dwarves are badass (Kardol and Dagna in particular), but....

I'm really enjoying playing dwarves right now, but there is something odd about their proportions.  And I even have tmp's dwarf proportion fix installed.  It's not just their bodies.  Thankfully, he fixed the ape arms.  Somehow, their heads seem too big.  Penelope's head seems the same size or at times even larger than Alistair's, even though her body is much smaller.  And in the character creator when making the profile picture, I generally zoom in all the way with the distance slider.  But if I do that with the dwarf head, it's zoomed in too much.

Even though so much beautiful work has done on fixing the love scenes, something still seems ... not right.

Female dwarven faces are very pretty. It's their body proportions that makes them look awkward and thus ruin the appeal of the love scenes for me, no matter how much work has been done on them.

And for the record, I do have a female dwarf character, so all the accusations of being a racist can sod off!

Zjar, I would never call you racist, and I like the DC dwarves especially since they most fit with having the looser morals in regards altogether naughtiness while still maintaining an almost innocence about it.

I can see what you mean about DC. They are so alien to the outside world that they carry a great deal of innocence, but their previous life certainly wasn't innocent at all.

Their body proportions don't even bother me. Extra reach is always a bonus in my book, especially if your dwarf is getting freaky with someone twice their size, like Alistair. Personally, I think dwarven female bodies are quite sexy. They are very lush and female, with the added benefit of looking like they have the muscle to sport all that heavy armor they run around in.

The only time I think dwarven bodies look less the spectacular is in light armors, which is why even my DC rogue wears splintmail.

You can mix a certain criminal element, with a wonder at seeing a new world. 

I do enjoy a story where you go from nothing to something.

Yeah, light armors definitely bring the worst of dwarf bodies. That's why I hate Jarvia's quest so much...

I will say that dwarf females are the only females that look like they could be real warriors.

It's the elven bodies I have a bigger problem with, as far as females go. The males have good builds, sort of lean/wiry Bruce Lee asthetic. But the females look positively pubescent and underdeveloped, which is another reason I haven't succeeded in playing them. If I'm gonna make a character that is going to be getting it on with someone or something (and I've yet to manage that, even my DN decided on shelling out 30 silver for the dwarven rent boy at the Pearl since she found surfacers revolting) I'd like that character to at least look like they might be of an age of consent.



Another reason I really hate Vaughn and find him the most stomach curdling character in an origin: he is not only into raping women, but he is into raping women that look like 12 year olds. Just....ewwwww.



Beyond a light bow or dagger, elf females do not look like they could wield much else. Human females are better in that regard, they look like they could be good at being rogues and wielding somewhat heavier gear, but as far as tank/warrior abilities go, no. Even they seem pretty frail in that department.

I have to agree here as well. I like the dwarven massive armor on both genders most. Especially the feminized version for the females.

@Giggles, not used to shooters? Skip the shotgun and use the assualt rifle or pistol and aim for the head. Or snipe them.
