I dunno, I was thinking maybe there was something I had missed.  But then the nug was in camp and it was just all wrong wrong WRONG.

@Jess -- Heh, I'm back in WoW, too! Been catching up on the new quests they added to each zone. I used to laugh at the idea of binding in Stormwind, but they really did a great job with the Dwarven District. I love that the dwarven bar has female dwarves serving booze. Really adds to the ambience. If it gets too crowded, I'll go back to Ironforge, no problem.

@tuppence -- Vanilla dwarf sex scenes with Alistair is cringeworthy. I rarely replayed the scene past the first night, but I will say that tmp's dwarf scenes with Alistair blows it out of the water. He really did an amazing job. Those scenes should be unique only to the dwarf players (I think elf and human share the same scenes, no?) so it's worth a look-see.

@Gilsa - There's a few differences between the human and elf with Alistair, but it's positioning due to the height difference.

I want to replay my Aurora Cousland, problem is Alistair gets exiled in that playthrough and I don't want to change it.
So I guess I have to create a new character.

Not immediately after Arcturus, I think I'll need a small break from DA:O. Will be playing Sins of a Solar Empire.

It's because they didn't give a crap about dwarves to make scenes work for them. I mean, even their default body shape is incredibly deformed... Then again, all the body shapes are deformed looking IMO and all sex scenes are cringeworthy. That's why we download tmp's (if you are romancing Alistair as a dwarf, at least)

@Giggles - Yeah, I hear ya. I hate doing it but I really want a drunk Alistair just in case it means something in DA2. And I'm actually kinda excited about trekking around with Loghain. I've never done that (outside of the only other time I spared him, but we went from the LM straight to Redcliffe so I didn't get to experience his party banter or his comments in RTO).

 Oh...crap. I was going to do that ending for DA2, as well, but I would actually have to finish the game with Loghain, wouldn't I? In my head that playthrough kind if ended at Landsmeet.... It was going to be hard enough just making Anora queen and exiling Alistair, but I somehow managed to block the Logain factor out of my mind.... Maybe I'll wait for DA2 to come out and see what's up first.

They are really sweet.  I'm going out on my elven limb to say that they are the most romantic of Alistair's scenes.  I think because he kneels a few times.    Oh, and Dahlia's kiss for dwarves is super hot.

I know I've talked about this before many, many times, but I STILL get tickled pink when I think about the line where he tells the dwarf not to be ridiculous for worrying about the height, that he actually thought he was too tall for her. It's my favorite line in the whole game (you only get it if you proposition Alistair first -- if you wait for him to come to you, then you get something generic said). And I don't know if tmp did this on purpose for his mod, but he reflected this very attitude by having Alistair get down to his knees first to be equal with her. Anyone could have easily just have Alistair pick up the dwarf and have her wrapped around his waist like she was a child holding on, but nope, tmp just brought the camera down and made it a non-issue. It was like hearing that line all over again. I tmp so much.
