Yep. Alistair will, if he has to, accept his girlfriend marrying his almost-uncle, having to leave Ferelden forever while it's tearing itself apart, and not having any idea what's going on. Praising Loghain, on the other hand...Tigress M wrote...
@Sarah - That's the ticket! Trying to get Alistair to sing Loghain's praises would certainly do the trick of "waking him up". Stupid demon.

@Yankee -- Sexay group photo!
@Tigress M -- I love how you pepper your stories with back and forth dialogue and descriptive actions while they're talking. Makes it so easy to read and it flows well.
@Rage -- Excellent screenshot. That's actually a better dream than being with Goldanna and her make-believe family.
@LadyD -- I love the interaction between Duncan and Alistair, right down to the line "I'll make it an order if I have to." Had a grin on my face. I liked that you approached it from acknowledging that it was a Fade and an illusion, ultimately a dream that Alistair was having, from the get-go.
@Reika -- I liked your twist of Duncan insisting the warden died at the Joining and how you set up the strong magic presense as a way for Alistair to figure out something was not right.
@tmp -- lol about the roller skate sex scene vision. =p
@Merisell -- I liked the romantic tension between Alistair and the DE, that they weren't quite there with their feelings for each other. I really like the twist with Alistair knowing it was an illusion all along and he was just enjoying it while he could. And now to make his relationship with the warden not an illusion ... =p
@Sarah -- I definitely agree with the comments about Alistair not wanting to sing Loghain's praises. That was a great way to approach the story. I liked that it wasn't a good dream in the Fade, where things seemed to go to pieces instead of being a joyful reunion.
@Schratty -- OH NO YOU WENT THERE!! LOL.

@Gilsa: Maybe it is actually Duncan. Who's to say? I think there's enough ambiguity that it could go either way. Sometimes we need to be given permission to forgive ourselves and move on, and even if he never says it, I think Alistair wanted to hear it from Duncan. But I did like him being fully cognizant of where he was in the moment, even if he didn't remember it after.

Tigress...what level are you at? Sometimes early in the game Alistair stands around doing nothing and I have found that setting him to use the most powerful health potion helps (if you have anything other than lesser). As a former xbox player (health potions don't need to reset on xbox), it took me a while to figure out that when his health was less than 50, even though the right tactic would be next to his portrait, he was waiting for the health potion to reset. Don't know if that's the issue but it's worth a shot.
I've seen that (I can see him standing there waiting to drink one, twiddling his thumbs), but I just manually feed him a bigger pot and get him to move on. I'll watch for that though and see if his health is below 50% when tells me he can't do something.
@Tuppence - I get a voice comment from him telling me "I can't do that" and a message above his head that says something similar. I don't use Adv Tactics and at this point, I'm really not wanting to toss another mod into the mix until I figure out what's causing this.

Aye, I just meant that I liked that you went with the regular dream angle instead of being trapped in the Fade scenario. In a game that doesn't really provide closures, your story gave a really nice one with Alistair and his unresolved feelings about Duncan. Even in the end of the game where we give Alistair Duncan's shield, it still doesn't really feel like the book is closed. I felt a bit cheated with the epilogue slides where Alistair went off to bury Duncan alone, y'know? =p
Yeah, I ignore that part of the slide.
Melca: It depends what you're looking for. I'm, uh, doing a fill right now on the kmeme, which some help from...others. Who shall remain nameless unless they choose otherwise. And you're free to post your own prompts, and fill others. The more the merrier! \\o/

Yeah, I ignore that part of the slide. And I like trying to take slightly different angles on things where possible.

I'm seriously considering it.
Most of my friends are really disappointed. It seems all ***Zevran/Anders/Mage/Elf stuff***. Theres barely even enough Alistair in it.
Now thats not a bad thing but it would be nice to see it more balanced.
It just would be nice to see some prompts for other characters.
Too many prompts are getting ignored.
I know if I post a prompt request it will likely get ignored as well so I see no point. So if I do choose to go back, it will likely be to fill a prompt.

I never actually go on kmeme but you've got to be the only person I've ever seen complaining about the lack of Alistair. Usually, I hear just the opposite.
Thats because there is barely any Alistair on it. Granted its been a couple of weeks since I last looked.
I just want to see more characters represented. When I get the chance I'll probably post something. I see a few prompts that are ignore and they have potential.

I might do that once I got out of the Deep Roads in my main story to celebrate that miracle to happen. Lol. This will probably be some severly case of Anon-fail if I do so (Melca36 wrote...

@Yankee and Tuppence - Of course, after having headed back into the game, all set to try and capture Alistair's fighting issue, he doesn't do it once in the whole hour I played. Maybe I should have whined about this weeks ago and "fixed" the problem that much sooner.

Do you mean there hasn't been a lot of new Alistair recently? Because I'll agree with you there. There is a ton of Alistair on the kmeme as a whole. And the fill I'm doing is Alistair, so you'll at least have that.
But, yeah, go do some fills! There's a fill-a-thon this week. Just go looking through all the unfilled Alistair.

I think Melca is talking about the new kmeme, not the one we are familiar with (those of us that are familiar with a kmeme, lol). I didn't save the link...it's a few pages back.

I confess I made the same complaint a few pages back... But as you say, what I think we mean is the lack of new Alistair prompts compared these last few weeks to Zev prompts... I am doing my bit at the moment I writing an Alistair fill.
@Merilsell not all are p0rn, the one I'm doing at the moment isn't I contacted the OP and they said they were happy for it to be p0rn free...

The tent party thing? Huh. I must be doing something wrong, b/c when I looked at it, there was practically nothing there. Unless there's yet another one?

Its not just unfilled Alistair prompts. I even see characters like Anora, Teagan, Cailan, Nathaniel, etc get ignored.
It just seems to cater to Zevran/Elf/ Mage fans at the moment. I will do some prompts.
And I am happy to see an alistair prompt getting filled.

Yeah, that's the one.
I'll be curious which one you are working on when you are done. I saw one the other day, after you mentioned you were working on a fill, that made me laugh to think that maybe that was the one. Not because I thought it was something that you would choose, but because I would love to see your take on it.
