My feelings exactly. The pain I felt when my first dog died could only be compared to the loss of my father and grandmother. Aunts, uncles, cousins... bleh.

And I can also count on one hand the people whose deaths would bother me more than the loss of a pet. And two of those were my father and grandmother, so...

My mother, grandmother, and best friend from childhood are already gone. leaving only my husband and my best friend back home.

Otherwise, no, my animals would break me far worse.

Well, whenever I do it he insists that we were never friends anyway so...

I swear, he barely seems to notice he's married to her with all of his outrage at being 'betrayed.'

But my CE and him weren't friends to begin with! 

Besides, in this case my CE married him to Anora with the sole purpose of making both of their lives miserable. So it was an even hatred for both.

Its suprising how easy it is to get him to marry Anora though.

I found it funny that you don't even have to convince him to do it. Just persuade Anora at the Landsmeet and it's done, even if he would've refused back at Eamon's estate (which he did on my run by the way).

Skadi, you can get it from 'All awakening items'  mod; or from slink's S3 RavAGE drops.
I don't use the 'awakening Items' mod anymore since I get Justice's black armour from rak72s mod.

@Maria - Lovely prompt! I like seeing Duncan regretting not telling, at least Alistair, about how the AD is slain. I always wondered why Alistair didn't know that, having been a GW for six months prior to Duncan's death, with a Blight looming over their heads.

@ Tigress & Inclemency, I think it was terrible negligence on Duncan's part but hopefully it was that he just did not have the courage to do it and kept putting it off until it was too late, leaving two very vulnerable wardens...

Its one of the more enjoyable fights in the game.

I usually do the High Dragon fight and then reload and leave her alone. I love the fight, but I hate to kill her.

I dislike killing her too, because she's probably the dragon that was at the River Dane.
I still do though.

I am when it comes to animals!

I just see no reason to kill her. She's just sleeping, SLEEPING, on her perch posing no threat to my party. Not to mention that I actually hate watching her drop dead. It makes me feel uneasy as if I've just done a horrible thing.

And there's also the fact that all the party members tell you NOT to disturb her. I imagine that if you do fight her they're probably furious at you for calling out a freakin' High Dragon who posed no threat.

I also avoid killing any animals in the game whenever possible. The wolves in Lothering (I enter stealth and walk around them or avoid the quest altogether), the dogs in Redcliffe Castle, some of the Bears in the Brecilian forest.

I really am a softie for them.
