And there's also the fact that all the party members tell you NOT to disturb her. I imagine that if you do fight her they're probably furious at you for calling out a freakin' High Dragon who posed no threat.

Oghren actually wants to fight her.

I don't kill the dragon either, she's just minding her own business. I don't like Wade's ugly armor either, so there is no point. Plus, if Genitivie goes blabbing his mouth, the dragon can fry the pilgrims. I usually tell him to drag his ass back to Denirum though

Skadi, you can get it from 'All awakening items'  mod; or from slink's S3 RavAGE drops.
I don't use the 'awakening Items' mod anymore since I get Justice's black armour from rak72s mod.

It's a good thing that slink's doesn't name that staff "lamppost in winter."  Otherwise it might be kinda odd that Morrigan has her hands on it.  :P

I dunno, Anders seemed to like it well enough :whistle:

Oh, god, the slash of my dreams...:wub::wub::wub::wub:

It figures. <_<

But I'm not one to listen to Oghren, so...

And what's this about her being at the River Dane? Something from the books I assume?

@rak:

That's the other thing, keeping her alive prevents the Urn from being found.

Do you have links, please? :)

@Zjarcal - and the bears in Lothering. The only chantry board quest that I do there is the bandits one.

In the Stolen Throne, right before the Battle of River Dane, Loghain and Rowan watch it flying around and blasting crap over the Frostback mountains.

That was the Dragon that the Dragon Age was named after. How could anyone kill her?

Before the battle, Loghain saw a dragon and he referred to her in his speech during the battle.
And apparently the dragon approved. That's what the book says.

I must be heartless. I kill everything I can, except possible companions and Genetivi, whom I send back to Denerim and never go visit after finding the Urn.

Yeah, forgot about those too. I also avoid that quest. I also cringe every time there are mabaris amongst criminal mobs, because killing them almost feels like killing Dog! :crying:

@Skadi and KoP:

Thanks for the info! Another reason NOT to kill the High Dragon.

@ Skadi (can't quote or use the standard form for some odd reason, so can't make the url a link here) Check my 'Game Mods' blog, there are links to almost everything in my game there: http://social.biowar...737/blog/11764/

The worst I ever did to him was defile the urn, then neglect to mention it on the way out. Bonus points for rubbing salt in the wound without him even noticing.

"What was it like? Coming to the urn, I mean?"
"Nothing has ever touched me quite so deeply"

:whistle:

Oh, if only I could've seen his face when he leads his expedition. Killing him is one thing, destroying his life is another. I wish Valenna could've been there to see it.

Excellent, all back to normal, was strange I couldn't quote or use the standard form at all...

Anyway, I have it listed as 'Awakening Items' in my blog instead of the proper name, All Awakening Items (need to change it).

When I had it installed, I used the Add Any Item Visual Deluxe mod to pull out what I wanted.  That mod rocks

Hey, my Warden ended up killing the dragon because she'd been in a violent mood since getting dumped and Sten kept implying that she was running away from the Blight. It was some nice armor, though, and very badass so it's all good. Image IPB

Yeah, I kill it for the armor, too.  Or, more specifically, for the quest.  I'm a quest **** and like to do all the quests I can in most of my playthroughs.  Sometimes, if I'm RPing a really rigid character, I'll skip some quests, but most of the time I just come up with a good reason why my current Warden would do certain quests that, on the surface don't seem in character -- ie, I make up excuses for them so I can get my quest fix.  ROFL

LOL! I was like you during my first two playthroughs Tigress! I couldn't bear the thought of missing a quest, no matter how insignificant or OOC it was. I did them all.

Now I actually skip over many quests, like the Blackstone Irregulars, Mage's Collective, Slim Couldry, or the Trials of the Crows, since they are either OOC or just not something my wardens would want to bother with.

I've found good old fashioned payment works as a suitable motivator for most of mine. Not that they're all so mercenary, but there's something poetic about doing a good deed for the chantry then blowing the reward on prostitutes.

I always kill the dragon.

It may be awesome and all, but... I would rather kill it here then run the risk of it eating people or something in Fereldan.Besides the Heavy Plate you get from it is badass.

Hey that is just the warden "stimulating" the economy.

I kill it because it stands in the way of the Sacred Ashes becoming a pilgrimage site that might stimulate Ferelden's economy and boost its political influence.

And also because I want to build a hotel resort there.

Eh, if we go by that logic we might as well kill every beast in the land.

@KoP:

Damn, you weren't kidding when you said that every decision of yours was politically influenced!

Yeah because if the OGB thing does not work out Arcturus would make a pretty awesome Manager I guess.

Actually have a few toll booths on the way to the ashes and you will really rake in the cash. Maybe have some stalls with commerative stuff and tshirts.
