Since then I really dont want to know how much gaming has taken from my life, especially Bioware games.
I love Fraps!
And Dragon Age...
And Games...
O_O that's the part of reality I tend to try not to face... the *time wasted* factor
but Dragon Age and surroundings, above all other games,. really killed it for me.
so now I can safely step on the podium and say
"I love Fraps, Dragon Age, games, and uh...Alistair! "

Same here. Yet for some reason, I still secretly aspire to Old Grandma Hardcore status when I get to old age.

I think my record is around 6 hours with Civilization IV and Neverwinter Nights, but I felt really woozy at the end of those sessions.

OMG that blog is funny. But reading stuff like that, I start looking over my shoulder for the apocalypse that is surely coming to wipe out our civilization from the earth.phaonica wrote...

I got into video games when my dad bought my younger brother Pokemon Yellow when it first came out for his birthday and so got me Pokemon Red a few months later for Christmas and, soon after that, a Nintendo 64. It was funny but I didn't really get invested in any of them until I played KotOR2. I got KotOR because I liked the sequel (even despite the non-ending) and I liked it so much I got Jade Empire and Mass Effect. I actually didn't think Dragon Age sounded very interesting but I got it for Christmas because it was a Bioware game and I've loved all their games that I've played.
Wasn't Kreia an ace character?

The first time I played I didn't like her as I was fourteen and annoed at all her long-winded cryptic-ness and the fact she didn't even pretend not to be a Sith. Now, however, IMaria13 wrote...

Edit: I mean, I haven't played in awhile but what was the point of blackmailing him? So he didn't mention that she was a Sith? Did Kreia honestly think you didn't notice this?

Watching a video of her playing is a little bit disturbing, heh. Then again, I'm glad no one ever records me cursing at the screen because a spell went awry.

I have a feeling that a video of any of us playing a game would be disturbing as well. I know I cursed a lot last night when going against the spirit apparatus... that would've been a nasty video.

Not only that, I also unconsciously tilt my head at times to have a better angle, when admiring/staring at Alistair ...and become only aware of it after doing it. But hey that's the life of a fangirl, I supposeZjarcal wrote...

And the swearing, hell Maker YES! If something frustrates me within a game, I'm all but shy and can be very creative with it
I love gaming Grandma btw - she's awesome <3

She died a lot.
Every 10 minutes I heard:
NO! CHEATER! STUPID ZOMBIES! STUPID MUTANTS!
However she does much better in Dragon Age.

I usually am calm while playing games....
...until I get in WoW raid.
Let me tell you, I bet I would be a bit afraid of myself when I decided to bash my keyboard when the whole raid dies.

Main reason why I cant do Online games is that I hate people who just play to annoy others and do stupid things.
Teamkilling in praticular.

Thankfully I play on the EU, and thus I avoid the complete dicks that are the US players. It is wrong perhaps to be biased against people in the USA due to my experience in a few online games with Americans but by God are they pricks, and they all suck so much!
Not saying there aren't EU players that aren't the same, but try playing for a month at level 80 on a EU server then on US server with Pick up Groups, the difference can boggle the mind.

It totally is going to happen to me too! I'll be surrounded by cats, books & video games. Actually, I can't think of a better way to spend my old age
My uncle brought us over a Ninetendo when I was about 14, when he watched us for a week when my parents were gone (he was only 24). We stayed up nearly that whole week, playing games until the wee small hours of the night. Mostly Legend of Zelda, Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, Duck Hunt & Gauntlet. He left the box with us, and we obsessively played all the Zelda & Mario games we could. But I left at 18, and didn't pick up another game until Sims.
That's when I became a secret gamer, because no one could find out about my Sims games, and downloads, and hair mods, and house building...
Then Twilight Princess came out, and I remembered how much I loved real fantasy video games. That led to WoW, which I definitely didn't want anyone to know about. The only person I confided to was my sister, who bought me DAO as a way to break the obsession. Um... it broke it all right. I thought I was playing a lot of WoW until DAO! Now I know what obsession and "fangirling" really is.
For topic, Fangirl obession:
