It's really going to depend on your monitor. I have a 19 inch widescreen, so I run at 1280 x 800.Addai67 wrote...
I've been playing, but nothing of terrible interest to post.
I decided since my DA days are likely numbered, I want to spend them playing another Dalish PC. This time a more classic archer/ bard/ ranger.

Question: DahliaLynn mentioned screen resolution and that having it lower brings the camera in closer? How do you set the ratio so that it doesn't look "smooshed"?
Thanks for these yankee23, they will make an adorable addition to IRS. Oh, and elves have their own version in the update I made today, but I have no pics of that.

We have a 19" monitor and the resolution is set to 1400 x 900, 16:10. I have no idea how it got set that way, I assumed it was default. Oh, we did fiddle with it a bit when we got a new video card because stuff looked screwy for a while and our talent bar shrank. Maybe that's how it got set as that.
try 1280 x 768 to get a comparable res that I get, in the dragon age configuration tab
Edit: I think you are talking about your regular computer screen res, as opposed to in game resolution. Set your *game* resolution in the video tab under options to 1280 x 768. I think it should be fine. try experimenting on what feels right.
That is the assassin's armor. The original mod has been taken down I think. I just repacked it for my own use available via console. I can share but you'd have to put up with my other custom rogue gear=]mynameisdanza wrote...

I tried it, I don't notice the camera being any closer, stuff just looks smaller on the screen like the talent bar and stuff. I think I like the other better.inclemency wrote...
If it's a regular 19", the resolution should be 1280x1024 @60Hz, I believe. I can do 1600x1200 on my 20", but it has an S-IPS panel that will support that at it's refresh rate, which is actually slow compared to most monitors, but with the advantage of being able to look at it from the side without colour-shift...great for working on my photos.
But try both of those resolutions, 1280x768 and 1280x1024, see which is better.

Thats two of 3 variations of the "end" scenes that are in the beta. I uploaded the 2 new elf ones (made by yankee23) today. (private beta only) I think 3 will be private for a while, sadly.Addai67 wrote...

Yah, I have to use the 'larger cursor' mod, or else I cannot find it in battle, which was a real pain!

You'd think Morrigan had three heads by the WTF looks on your party's faces when she appears.

Trying to advance my HN so I can check out the new scene.
Geralt is pretty sexy, I'll give him that. I'm just a gameplay dunce, I've come to conclude. Plus the story hasn't grabbed me, but I did order the books so we'll see if that helps.cmessaz wrote...
