@Rage - I couldn't help it, I read someone else's fic mentioning Isabela and the whole thing just gelled with the two prompts. Lana didn't see it, but yeah, it would've played out with the armor, I was half tempted to have her accidentally walk in on the two of them, but decided I mortified her enough as it is at the time.

Edit: I'll try to remember ToP when I get home. I'm currently at work and do no have access to my photobucket album.

Esbatty & Tigress, Alistair mentions cheese at least 3 times that I can think of ... the two that you both mentioned and also there was one time when he was babbling and ended with "and oh look, we have cheese!" or something like that.

We are almost up to 900 pages on this second Alistair thread!  

Edit:  We ARE at 900 pages!  Whee!  Happy 900!

I like to think of my little stories like some kind of offering to a boy-crazy pantheon to which thursday is their sabbath. The stories being like a bribe to keep the bare-ass Alistair pics holy and thus on their holy day.



And to whom this may concern: The cheese is eaten far too quickly to have time to properly melt but the lightning comes after the gooeyness ensues, I assure you.

They are part of the origin-specific scenes in IRS-A.  They're wonderful!

After you trigger the romance, you should be able to take your character back to their place of origin to have a special scene. Here is an old one from the mage origin at Lake Calenhad. And I don't use this version of Alistair anymore. It was the ex's favorite version and this shot is from one of her old characters.

As enjoyable and engaging your stories are, there are still those (i.e. me) who are overtly devout and would squeeze in a few derriere-displaying pics outside the appointed day

But for your sake, I'll keep this one tame...

The origin scenes have specific dialogue triggers.  For the Dalish scenes, you must be in the Dalish camp, and then talk to Alistair.  I think the scene is triggered by the option "Special."  At least that's how the mage scenes are triggered.  I tested the Dalish one first, so it's been awhile now.  The other scenes are all triggered by talking to an npc (a maid near the front door for HN, Rica for DC, Loilinar the guard for DN, and .... hmm, I can't remember how the CE triggers).

OMG! I never knew. Dagnabit... and of course I learn this during a run that will take a miracle from the Maker to trigger a romance with Alistair! Gah!

At this rate I'll be doing playthroughs for ANOTHER year, despite DA2! ROFL

I thought the cheese referred to the comment written on the bar in Redcliffe.  Guess I haven't triggered the right dialogue, either.

Catspaw, I have heard one of the references, and I play mostly male characters. The one I have heard almost every time is at the bridge in Redcliffe when you first enter the area and he gives the speech about his real father.
