Storm, I like that dress, looks good on Leliana. But I am going to let Nowshin know about a hand issue I noticed. Nothing big. They look really good.

Awwww!  I'd already been burned once by starting my first playthrough as a elf and getting dumped.  I was sooooooooo mad I abandoned that game and began a human noble because I wanted to marry Alistair, dagnabit!  Then, we got to Redcliffe and I was faced with the DR.  I hated doing it, but there was no way I was going to do anything that might screw up my chance to be queen.

Lol, I did almost the same, first game Elf Mage, then 3/4 of the way through found out about Alistair.   Abandoned that game in a hurry!  Next as HNF, went through the game, said 'no thanks', and took Alistair up with me to battle the Archdemon.  I swear I cried.   Oh...and that was after I was stunned when he broke it off with my HNF after the Landsmeet.

Yep! I actually turned down Morrigan the first time because, well. My character wanted to die. Which didn't work out as she'd planned either, as it happens.

It's still my favourite playthrough though. Just so long as I never have to do it again.

Lol, Melca, I had Ogres and Wild Drakes yesterday in Ishal, too, which was the first time, usually it's just additional mobs. Just getting Leliana before leaving Lothering so not quite at the end yet, wonder if I'll get another Ogre like you did...which would be fun!

inclemecy, that's actually a pretty awesome mage robe. I shall have to download it. It is well designed, yet pretty modest. Too bad the design team lacked such imafination.

@inclemency - Ouch! Alistair has left his share of broken hearts throughout Fereldan, hasn't he?

Re: RAVAge - I think the worst it ever did to me was to send me a boss drake (not just an elite but a full fledged boss) in the Korcari Wilds over by the Chasind stash. That took me forever to get beyond.

Oh yeah! I almost forgot! This random choosing of dialog produces some very funny lines I've never heard before. Here's one from WC - Alistair is replying to Avernus claiming his experiments were "necessary".

I did feel like loading an earlier save, but I'm glad I did. The way it played out at the end was fantastic at the time. His 'sanest thing I've ever done' moment at Fort Drakon was heart wrenching, and my favourite in-game moment by far because of it, and because I had no prior knowledge of how it'd turn out. I would've found generically saving the day far less satisfying, I suspect.

Very true, bleetman. That's why I'm determined to playthrough DA2 at least once without reading anything about the game. I missed out on that with DAO and learned things I really wished I hadn't, before finishing the game at least once.

Expecting at least some replayability with DA2, I think I'll be "okay" going into it blind. With DAO, I had no idea it would hold such a high replay value (having never been one to replay games prior to this) that I headed into the game wanting to "do it all right" the first time around, which led to a lot of wiki and forum snooping and tons of spoilers.

It didn't turn me off at all. I had never been so emotionally involved in a game before. In the same game, my elf got dumped and I reloaded and made Anora queen, but I kept the WC ending. I immediatly started a new game and played her properly. Then I heard if you played a HNF you could marry him, so that was game #3!

Query for you all:  Was there not talk about how to get the Awakening headmorphs to they can be altered awhile back  If so, could someone kindly point me in the direction of how to do that?

I swear I will get to playing again someday when I stop writing about adorable AU child Alistair fic, and want to create my own twaked morphs.  Thanks!

Tigress, you've inspired me.  I made a strange Dalish girl, and I'm going to try your dice method.  I'm not going to blog about it.  You are doing so good a job with that.  And I'm going to continue playing my CE Mage.  But just for fun, I'm also going to play with dice. I found a nice iphone app to do the rolls for me.  

And I love that "necessary" line.

Post- panto (which sounds kind of dirty) production meeting has finally ended. Large bottle of tequila and half bottle of Remi Martin completely drained by 8 people. By the Maker, can actors drink! I also make a mean margarita.  It didn't help that one of the actors (a pro) sounds so much like Shale that I kept waiting for him to call me "It". I had to check the website to be sure it wasn't him.  Finally back on to see what I've missed.

Oh yummy Alistair screens. That's what I found.  Ah yes, it's Thursday for me (really, really early Thursday).....

I really want to see what happens when you take Oghren to see Felsi, the odds are just so impossibly slim it'll work out for them. Which means it probably will, just from the sheer implausability of it.
