I actually liked that..he is the king afterall and I thought it appropriate for a public meeting. What I really wanted to do was kick everyone else in the back of the knees and yell show some respect!

Yankee, my feeling exactly. The kiss on the cheek was appropriate for the circumstances if still in a relationship with Alistair, but why the others didn't kneel also, I don't know (except for oghren)

The king consort also will kneel to Anora, but the rest are just like Alistair. The prisoner who probably could care less, the drunk dwarf who apparently does not remember Alistair, but Alistair remembers him, and the almost killed Senechal who sometimes has an air about him that he thinks he's above everyone else. (But then takes an arrow for the warden, so not sure why not the bow)

True as this may be, I still wish there was a "That's it?" or "Not so fast, Buddy" option that allowed you to do some extremely unbecoming PDA. Haha

And thanks! I find it humorous that Strom almost always looks p!ssed off.

Re: Alistair in Awakening - I'm still not sure that was a kiss on the cheek.  It looked to me like a whisper that brought a little smile to my pc's face.  I'm sure it was something that would be appropriate for a Thursday.

My diced Mahariel really messed up.  She did manage to get Sten in her party, but she sent Leliana away.  I was hoping that she'd pick her up before she left Lothering.  She still said no and Alistair made a plea to bring her.  She still said no, so Leliana is gone.

Really, they are in a courtyard full of soldiers...I highly doubt they would have been offended.  Might actually increase morale a bit!

tuppence - I wonder what happens in that case if you use the DT Lothering-before-it's-destroyed ring. You get to revisit Lothering, but not sure at which point it is and if Leliana would still be there to recruit. Although in a rolling-the-dice game, adding DT to the play might be a bit much.

Hmm ... I'm not sure.  I might try that, Storm.  Was that DT?  Maybe I'll do that sooner, in that case.  I had thought it was part of the metagame items set, which I already sold off in Ostagar.  I generally only keep that Ring of Rebirth item from that set.

I need to check my NB settings.  Alistair's chest suddenly got beefier and hairier.  I liked the leaner and lightly covered chest that I used to have set for him.  I haven't changed anything, so I'm not sure what happened.

I'm sorry I had to repost this because I think... He looks absolutely adorable here <3<3<3!!!

PS Love Thursdays we all make that extra effort to please each other in the nicest possible way...

I think it was DT rather than metagame items, I'll fire up the save I know I did go back to Lothering and double check!

tupp, if you do the dlc's like SP, RtO, and WP, then Lothering will still be there to go back to, or at least that's how it has been in my games. It gets detroyed once you complete one of the main quests. So as long as you stay away from the main things like Redcliffe, NotB, Urn, etc, you should still have a chance to get her. (please please dice be nice, don't let Leli die!)

tuppence, it's not a ring, but a scroll called, 'Alternate-Lothering Portal Rune' and I have no idea where you get it in DT. I really really should have written things down! You come into Lothering from the Exit and since I see dead darkspawn there, you're coming in at the time you left Lothering for Camp.

I got Leliana so don't know if she's still standing there if you didn't.

Good point, Rage!  I had forgotten about no destruction until a main campaign done

I'll give it a try.  But I don't have high hopes.  She did say she was leaving, and she turned and disappeared.  So she's likely not in Lothering now.  

And yeah, Leliana's not having much luck with the dice.  I really thought with 3 different chances, I'd get her in my party.  So far, I've been lucky that I haven't had to kill anyone.  But that hurt to see her leave like that.
