I will say yes, but I've only heard from a few people.  If there aren't many responses, maybe we'll have a "special ed' version of the contest and everyone wins!

Maybe an announcement on what the prizes are gonna be for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and some information on which date the result will be announced.  That should get more people excited.
And perhaps if you want a good gathering of members, you could do what was done for the female Cousland contest where we rp'd our characters and turn the night into a big schmooze fest/party.  This is of course only done after the judges have deliberated and the result are ready to be posted.  There could be an appointed host or two to keep the activities going and also announce the scores per category and the eventual winners.   What do you think?

I don't mind. I think everyone will handle it maturely this time around.

And it won't be difficult to rp Arcturus, I'll just have to be myself.

Tigress: I'm a little loath to start a thread on this forum. There is a thread in the cousland group. I just feel like posting a thread that's absically an ad might not be appropriate.

@LadyD - hmmmm, never thought of that. I guess it might be considered advertising, but I personally don't see it being any different that the Community Contests that are posted. But, granted, I'm not much in the know about the forums or proper etiquette, other than this thread. ROFL

Okay, maybe you don't have to do prizes.  Does anyone else know of any gimmicks to sucker encourage people into participating?   Unless of course you already have an idea, LadyD?

I dunno about prizes.  Seems like we all enjoy showing off our characters enough that we wouldn't need a prize.  But I'm not so sure about my male Cousland.  As I recall, he was kinda boring.  I'll have to get him out of storage and take another look at him.

Daicee is doing a real good job of alienating Alistair.  After agreeing to help the prisoner and persuading the guard to give up his lunch, she then decided to murder knife the prisoner instead of feeing him.  At least the wounded soldier got away.

I don't really frequent other threads but maybe those of us who do could post an announcement and a link to the group there...maybe the Anders, Nathaniel, Loghain threads, etc...?
