Manitoba - They still hold "Gone With the Wind Chill" parties?  Went there for a conference once. I repeat - once. Way too cold for my iced tea consistency blood.

Giggles, I live in the Mediterranean. 20 C is cold to me. Did you finish your exams? My daughter is taking her last one now, then she gets to fly for 2 days to get home. If Heathrow stays open.

Yep its -10 right now and I am waiting to start my last exam.



Cold to me is -20, I can wear a jacket out to -10 to -15 if I want.

Although the coldest it got was about -50 last year so far its just a nice winter.

@Rage - Di sounds like another one could BFF's with Randi! And isn't it odd how often/easy it is to pick dialog choice that will ****** someone off? I swear, whoever claims that romancing Alistair is too easy has obviously never tried to play a pragmatic or sarcastic character.

@Ramante - *waves hello* The only thing that comes to mind MIGHT be during the convo after the LM, but I don't remember if you have to have a high persuasion or not to get certain outcomes. Maybe someone else can answer that better. But, other than that possible one, I don't think there's any other romance related persuasion checks.

*GASP* Or maybe not. My lungs would freeze. I just put on a long sleeved T shirt this week. Don't think I can count that low. BBRRRR:(

Good to know. I am going to play a Dalish Elf so my plan was already to leave Redcliff and kill Connor so I don't have to change anything for that. I am actually hoping for special dialogue during the Landsmeet (planning on recruiting Loghain), but I haven't even finished one main quest so that is still far away in the game.

I'll try that when I start a new playthrough (I'm pretty sure I will start another one xD). And because for more dialogue you need high cunning, I will have a good reason to start another rogue playthrough. Haven't done the Alistair romance in a while, might be nice to try it again.

@Ramante - if you decide to do an Alistair romance I highly recommend DahliaLynn's and cmessaz's mods. I'm posting from my phone so I can't link for you, but hopefully someone else will.

@ Ramante

There's quite a few extra dialogue options other than the ones marked with (cunning) towards the start of the game, at least. Ostagar has a few extra that I remember, as well as your first meeting with Sten in Lothering. After that, I couldn't say - all my characters have a modest cunning by that point, so I can't tell the difference.
