@Rage - I love your HNF! Alistair doesn't stand a chance.

ToP?  Man... how come I wind up with ToP's on days I don't have any new derp?  Oh well, recycled derp it is...

Thanks, Tigress. I did have her with the Mori tucked hairstyle. But just recently changed it to the Don't Worry Be Hairy style 3 that has become popular over at cmess'. I really like how it looks on her. And the way Alistair is staring, I think he does too. Image IPB

Mmmm. *pounces* And yes, Alistair in massive plate is hot.

And no, I don't think he would feel hypocritical. For one, he had no idea his mother was elven when he broke it off with an elven Warden. Two, his mother being and elf or not does not change the reasons he broke it off, or that the people wouldn't accept an elven queen.

Edit:  Tigress, don't worry about derp, it's not Monday.

Also, are we skipping the prompt this week?

I hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday!

In others news, my weather forecast for today is: BLIZZARD! and 12-16" of snow.

I needs some Alistair to keep me warm and snuggly.

So sorry for all of you! I hope everyone had a great time and is still working off the turkey coma.
Will I get pelted with snowballs (or cheeseballs) if I mention that we went to the beach for Boxing Day?:?
It was beautiful here. I didn't have my love with me (no computer=no Alistair), so I have some serious playing to do. OOOHH! Tavern mod is great!
On the massive armor being hot. Oh yes! Especially covered in various body fluids and grey matter. Love the hair mods, too.
Here's a new derp. I like the waitress squeeing over him in the background.

I like snow, just not quite that much snow. And we have a generator, since they're expecting power to go down. Thunderstorms with the snow and 25-35 MPH winds with gusts up to 60 MPH.

Wow LadyD, sounds like you live near one of the Great Lakes. That sounds like lake effect snow to me.
And I think we did decide to skip the prompt
this week, and possibly next week, because of the holidays.

Nope, New England. ^_^

And I'm on vacation this week!  Ah well, I'll look for the prompts when they return.  I gotta work on Mistakes some more and try and get my Dalish finished with the Deep Roads.

We are in the middle of an impressive lake effect snowstorm.  I couldn't find my front steps this morning!

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!  We have one more family party to go to today and then we're done until next weekend.

Another massively plated, but still cuddly Alistair.

That blizzard LadyD mentioned is coming our way too...12-18 inches. I am about to run out to the store and since I am also on vacation this week, I will be hunkering down will no intention of leaving the house once it starts!

ROFL! Maker, I swear I'm losing my mind! I can't believe I thought it was Monday. I think Randi's insanity is rubbing off on me.

I can't imagine the peasant-folk of Ferelden would be too happy with the idea of having a half-elf king...I guess we'll just have to keep that on the down low :P Furthermore, I'm curious how Alistair would feel if he found out his mother was an elf after he broke it off with an elven warden (assuming he was made king and not hardened, of course). A little hypocritical, perhaps?

Well, I don't know how he would feel but he I don't think he should feel hypocritical because he wasn't. No one knew about random Orlesian elven Grey Warden mage Fiona. She had left the country and returned long enough to show Maric Alistair before they cooked up a story about his mother being a Redcliffe maid and only dire, dire need put him on the throne. Nothing about this changes what Alistair had said about his reasons for breaking up.

Maric didn't really have a relationship with Fiona, just a short fling (regardless of emotions involved). She left when he went back to his duties as king. Alistair still could not put any known child of an elf on the throne and the Hero of Ferelden would be much harder to hide until she gave birth and then claim that that baby was someone else who just happened to die. Grey Wardens can't have children together anyway. He couldn't marry her, no matter how many elves he descended from. He felt having a mistress wouldn't be fair to anybody and why in the world would seeing that Fiona was forced to give him up and never see him again and her only wish was that he knew nothing about either of his parents so that he wasn't burdened by who they were change that? If anything, it would only reinforce things.

And Alistair didn't choose to be related to an elf. He had nothing to do with whoever his parents were. I really don't see why having an elf mother makes his feeling that having a mistress isn't fair to the women involved at all hypocritical.

That thing must have picked up steam coming across then. It only dumped about six inches on us. Been blowing alot today. Woke up to a foot high drift in front of the garage, and bare pavement near the end of the driveway.Image IPB

Omg, RC, I was thinking something exactly along those lines the other night as I was walking down my friend's driveway and the moon was brilliantly lighting everything up.

Hmmm, I shall ponder exactly what I want to do with this.

Mine must be gone too! I thought it was Monday- that's why I posted derp. Ok, massive plate changed colour when I changed screen resolution. It's still nice, but I liked the old one better.

Good morning, all our guests have finally hit the road, so am gloriously free now! Nice prompt, Rage!

Current party in the Deep Roads. Alistair looks a bit put-upon.

Trying to remember now. It was something along the lines of she thought eating darkspawn flesh was just a foolish idea, and Alistair reponds that at least they will know where to dump all of the darkspawn bodies when the blight is over.

errant, same here. I usually have Leliana, Oghren, and Alistair with me. But with Di, she doesn't have much choice since the only companions she has are Morrigan, Alistair, Sten, and now Oghren. That's it. Image IPB

This dice character is showing me things I have never seen before. There was that convo, I had never heard Oghren practically beg you to kill Ruck, Wynne's fight and death at the base of the stairs after talking to Cullen, never gotten Cammen sooo mad he refused to talk, never seen Elora kill the Halla, never seen Redcliffe after leaving it to it's fate, or having to fight the zombies of the villagers in Redcliffe Castle. She has been an interesting play from just that perspective alone. Plus sometimes the die roll pops up some very strange combinations that just make me laugh.
