My dice warden will be heading into LM later tonight too.  Poor Alistair is not hardened.  So far Nettle has been making pretty conservative choices in the latter part of the game, so I'm hoping things will go well.  She has agreed to support Anora.  Oghren still likes her a lot.  Alistair doesn't care for her.  Morrigan loathes her.

Yep, thiis was interesting. The Landsmeet was against her, so there was the big fight. It was stopped by the Revered Mother who called for a duel, and Di kept saying no to it. So Alistair accepted the challenge since Di kept trying to avoid it. So Alistair won the duel. Then it came to Di to make the decision, and she wanted to marry Alistair. His speech (-45 approval) was hilarious. So she next wanted to marry Anora to Alistair. Another hilarious speech from both who refused, so Di picked Anora to rule. Alistair agreed completely to relinquish any claim to the throne. (not hardened since he and Di don't like each other).

Gah, I fell so far behind you guys with my dice warden...she only just finished her first treaty quest! And from now on I will update her progress in the dice group as I go, I hadn't put in an update the last couple of times I got to play and I have been working on my update for over an hour and I'm still not done yet!

Yes.  Unless of course you were going for a pun there, in which case, that would depend on your Warden.

And Yankee, I'm doing a speed run, sort of with Randi now. I got tired of it taking so long to get through the fights so I pushed the difficulty level back to Easy (vs Nightmare where it usually sits) so I can just fly through the fighting to get to the convos. I've enjoyed playing Randi, but I am about over the dice thing. ROFL

And I don't know about anyone, but every time I get to this point in the game (prep for LM), I start getting impatient. It's like I know the game's close to being over and I just want to get there and get done with it so I can start all over again. I must be crazy.

Unless you don't go into Goldanna's until after the LM, the only way to keep him unhardened would be not to talk to him at all until after the LM because he'll initiate a "camp" convo if you talk to him after visiting his sister and in that dialog you either have to follow up on the hardening or drop it.  Either way, once done, it's done.

Meanwhile, I took a trip to the tower and torture myself through the Mage-origin, since I remade my elven Mage Auraya, who is one of my xbox-chars I want to replay with a pimped look. This is Auraya.



Alas I hate the Mage origin with passion, so it's more a chore right now. And I came to the conclusion that I truly need a "slap Jowan" Mod. Ugh.

Re: Hardening - I did manage to keep Alistair pure until after the LM once. I stopped at Goldana's right before headding to the palce. It's cute when you tell him about trying hard to make lots of babies.

Just popping in to give an update on Di's final moments in the game. The Dark Ritual has come and gone, and this is the result:

@Kyle: Do you know how to use the console? If so, there is a great mod who makes my life in DA:O so much easier, since I always forget to disable the mods before creating a character. A new char happens rather spontaneously, so it is like as if this mod has been made for me. It's easy to use too. If I can use it with my three weeks experience in PC Dragon Age...then you can do it for sure.

Tigress, I do the same thing. Once I hit the Landsmeet, I have to play it to the end because it's sooo close.

EDIT: Yep LadyD, there will be a funeral here shortly.  Just don't know who it will be for.
 
And I'll let you all know what happens at the gates when there is no one left to run the army there. Di only has Oghren, Sten, and Alistair left for companions.
