Yeah, Tigress, sounds familiar. Alistair takes over, and there is no waiting or pleading, just the "this is for Duncan" and a short nod from the warden, and then Anora covering her face from the splatter.

Ack...ToP....recycled derp:

I didnt even need to call Redcliffe!

I started off with the Mages and then called the Dwarves once the Darkspawn reinforcements butchered the Circle Mages. Dwarves ended up dying far quicker than Im used to and I ended it with the Werewolves

I did :D I like playing with a Spellcaster but I always seem to nerf it, leaving it impossible for me to beat the Archdemon without sliding down to easier difficulty settings. This is the first time Ive actually done it on Nightmare :D

Hahaha the murder knife - That thing is so useful (especially in City Elf origin and Urn of Sacred Ashes)

Question about Awakening - Im going to go buy it now... should I purge my companions of their equipment so I can bring the useful stuff with me into Awakening or?

Hair needs more gel IMO

Nah, Alistair doesn't use gel, his hair just does that.

Besides, were there even hair-sticking-up products in medieval times? XD

I remember reading something about hair gel made from flax seeds in medieval times... You can make hair product from a number of natural ingredients anyway. Hair product isn't a recent invention, the real question is how common the usage of it was amongst soldiers xD

In Spain they use cologne sometimes to style boy's hair. But fussing about hair was not uncommon, I think it was the Spartans who on the eve of their showdown with the Persians at the Gates of Fire were seen elaborately plaiting each other's hair and generally buffing each other up.  Homer mentions Achilles' long blond hair and heroes in the Iliad wear golden hair nets under their helmets... It is said Julius Caesar designed the emperor's laurel wreath to disguise his bald patches... When Napoleon met Czar Alexander they ended up discussing different baldness remedies...

Elaborate suits of armour are male vanity in action and don't get me started on codpieces...

That's what I meant XD

Ladies used copper based make up back then and coal..poor souls.

If it wasn't common there are always undocumented exceptions, lol.
And he does admit to having an obsession with his hair, so it's possible!

Sorry to come in a bit late here but didn't a large part of the Spartans spend the day before the battle at the Gates of Fire braiding each other's hair... Does not Homer mention some of the guys in the Iliad using golden hair nets under their helmets... Look at suits of armour... Male vanity in action (especially some of the codpieces, in fact the codpiece itself is male ego in fashion)so I think its quite possible...

Arsnic in victorian times, made the complexion pale, unsurprisingly.

Greetings, all!

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas. I did the family tradition of spending Christmas Eve with the folks. We went out to dinner, then came back and opened gifts (we do this in case there are any friends of relatives we would like to visit on Christmas Day). Spent Christmas Day reloading game saves of milestone moments between Arturo and Alistair (the swooping kiss is still my favorite)

Just got in from my first day back at work. Oy, what a long day. So glad I popped in here to catch up on this thread. I see we have a new Alistairian. Welcome Kyle! Awesome to see you fit right in with our little dysfunctional circle. XD

Well, time to see what's going to get nuked for dinner. See y'all in a few!

OMG this is TOO Freaking cute for words, I had to share it.  This is my canon, Neria with Teagan (from my fanfic, Threshold) with Alistair in the background!  He looks a wee bit more disgruntled than he actually is in the story but this was just too adorable not to share!  I wish I was this talented.  This was done by my youngest daughter's BFF on the new tablet she got for Christmas!

Now I just need a Signature with "All your Teagan's is belongs to ME!!" for my posts here and I would be one happy lil fangirl!Image IPB

Thank you! That was my Christmas gift to myself. The actual artwork should be arriving in a few weeks and will be framed and up on my wall shortly after that.

I posted the entire thing a while back but here it is again for reference :)
