Carys and Alistair finally made it to the tent!  Hallelujah!  This is the longest I have ever waited to tent Alistair and it was agony.  Might have been the reason this play through got stalled.

I have to ask how long, because Maggie finally got Alistair to admit to loving her, and she only has Orzammar and NotB left. He's even at 100 Love. She got the tent time, but why did he wait so long to admit to loving her? (the whole head exploding speech)

Finding and giving him Duncan's shield moved him to +98 Love.  Then it was off to camp.  They got off to a slooow start.  Things didn't start until after she gave him his mother's amulet, which was after the Dalish, the Tower and the Urn of Sacred Ashes.  After that, she figured out that you could give people presents, so she gave him a couple.  But I wanted to leave the relationship to progress somewhat naturally.  Hence the wait.

I take a lot of what Gaider says outside of the game with a grain of salt, I'm sure some of what he says is said to mess with folks.

Loghain's reaction to seeing that hole the ogre made that led the DS inside, argues that he didn't know anything at all about this.

LadyD, ahh. Maggie was impressed with him from the get go, so every chance she got to talk to him she did. But Redcliffe was after the Circle, so she didn't hear about his background until later. So naturally since they had to hit Denerim to find Genitivi, it was easy to look up his sister.

I looked up his sister the second time we went to Denerim, but was still just at friend level then.

LadyD--Yeah, she didn't hit the tent until after the Urn, but he didn't confess his love to her then because she was still adore? But after waking up Eamon, and she did the nice thing with the mages doing the ritual, he jumped up a ton with that and then getting the amulet right afterwards.

Has anyone played a sole Creationist Mage? I started a new character and thought I wanted to try that out since I've never done it, but I'm not sure I'm going to be able to stick with it since she's pretty useless so far. LOL

Just wondered if anyone had tried it and if so, does it get better over time?

Tigress, is that the one with haste? If so, I know someone who combined that with arcane warrior and made a pc that I would not be afraid to solo nightmare with.

Lol I always have my AW with Haste, and hopefully another mage in the party for double-haste, we all kick some serious butt like that.  Lol, Haste is the first thing I go after and I'll sacrifice regular spells to get it as early as possible...will respec to get it, I hate being a slow mover!

Finally got around to installing the bob style haircut (Numbro 3) from Don't Worry, be Hairy... Great hair. Now I'm stumped on how to give it a different hair colour. Call me stupid, those darned instructions in the readme make no sense to me at all.

Haste makes the difference between somewhat pleasureable and downright torturous when doing the Deep Roads.  Haste is my favorite spell too.  I cheat and use the skill books to get it before I ever leave the mage Origin

Lol, Rage, glad she survived and defeated the Broodmother! Syvanaerie, I'm the same way, Haste is the most important spell, and the faster it can be obtained, the better!

I know this, the next mage I play will have haste as the mainstay. Jules was just fun. Still took 15 minutes to get across the bridge solo, but it was fun.

Yeah, that's the group.  And I was thinking I should do her as an AW since she won't have too many combat spells.  Good to know.  Now if I could just figure out why I hate her look, I'd be all set and ready to go.  Her face is flat and I can't figure out how it got that way!  ROFL

If I'm using Sten or Oghren a lot (or if Alistair is doing 2H), I've gotta have Haste asap. Otherwise I'm not in such a hurry for it.

@Rage - I sent you a PM, but here's a pic... can't see her well but it's the only closeup I have so far! I might also be her blush that's causing me grief... I started with a darker skinned preset and maybe should have toned down the blush since I lightened her complexion.

@Tupp - I like haste, but don't sweat it if I don't have it. My system runs so slowly anyway that slow attacks are just the norm for me so I don't notice it. Maybe once I get my new CPU that will change (I'm hoping at least).

This is strange. All I ever do is continue to be nice to him and we're usually making love right before I go and find the ashes. But then again, I have 100% approval with all of my characters. I find that it gives you more EXP especially since they open up about themselves and allow you to do their quest.
