Well merely an opinion of course but I'd never write it into manuscript and I pair characters up all the time. In my novels there is a character named Jas (Jasper) who could be Zev only no accent, lol, (no I didn't copy the character, wrote the novel way before I even discovered DAO) and his current wife, Beka (Rebeka) is very similar to Lelianna. They are perfectly matched. I don't have a character that matches Alistair. They men in my novels are commandos but I can see matching Alistair to Beth who runs the procument office, is a strong friendly woman. Never would I put Alistair with Beka. Ah, but just an opinion.

Neither of those women are my lead female.  My lead female is a mercenary, strong, formidable woman who's married to two very strong, formidable men.  I write science fiction/erotica.

I know but Alistair only ends up with Lelianna in Darkspawn Chronicles which is DLC.

Oh I'm about to do it. I'm at Orzammar's doors right now. It's just...ugh. Maybe I should play this with console enabled too, hmm *ponders* But first I have to wade my way through the Proving and the Carta anyway, so I have much time left until the DR comes >__>

Oddly enough when writing, I had the total opposite, except the Broodmother part. Which creeped me out while writing.

Theres a certain trick to getting them. I always get them when the foe in nearly out of health.  I wish I can get more for Al. LOL

Re: Valeria--I had to drop the difficulty to normal. While there were some areas I could get by at level 10 on nightmare, there were others that seemed virtually impossible. There's some nice challenging fights in this mod, and good tactics make a real difference (not meaning your tactics slots), which I always appreciate.

There is a feeble attempt at a plot when you reach a point. It seems more like an unfinished module. I would classify it as hack/slash more than anything.

I am going to try Valeria again. I definitely agree the fights are challenging.  I just want to tell Valeria, thanks...glad I saved you, sorry about your sister....go join the army in Denerim.

Lol! Yeah, if there's no way to get her to go away, I'll uninstall the mod after finishing and go back to an earlier save. I don't like having non-canon companions or mod merchants hanging around the camp.

My problems are usually between the toolset and the game.

I've had that happen, yes, with both CC and toolset. I experience more problems moving from toolset to game the CC to game.



And let's not even talk about toolset to CC.
