inquartata, I think many of us started here as lurkers. It took me forever to come out of hiding. But, like Sky, I've never regretted it!
I also always make my faces in the toolset now, but I like to export them as mops. The blue hair silhouettes in the toolset bothers me. I'm always playing around with different hairstyles and colors, so I find using the CC helpful. I've gotten used to adjusting the nose and eyes in the CC.
Cirra was my latest elf. Her toolset face looks very different. She used to be a blue-eyed blonde with a tattoo.

@Rage - why does she look amazingly like Leliana?
Here's the new Kaliopi. I really liked the face of the first one, although she's nothing compared to what Reika has done, but really couldn't deal with the hair. So I started again and was much happier with the result. *hangs her head in shame for using the CC*

I was so happy to be able to just work the hair and tint mods.
I really, really wanted that armor, too!

Here's an Alistair (along with Ser Gilmore and Raine) in the original colour of the armour before I turned it into Christmas-wear

Marlana looks great. What I always wanted to ask...why did you choose white hair? Is there a story behind it? It strikes me as an unusual choice which is nothing bad...and I'm just curious.

@ Merilsell - I'm actually wondering that myself. I think the white hair looks good on her. It gives her that ethereal unique look and it compliments her eyes really well.

The reason for the white hair has two parts of the story. The original character was from a Battletech roleplaying game, she had white hair due to a poisoning attempt (daughter of powerful and very not liked noble. Think someone along the lines as Howe, but not into torture).
So when I played DAO, I thought "Oh, this is /perfect/ for Lana." Only, in this case, my RP (and it's buried somewhere in my FF) is that when she was 8, she ticked off Fergus who dumped something on her. She got sick from it, lost her hair, and when it grew back, it came back as silver-white, instead of the original auburn.

I have two wardens I'm rather proud of. Both in the toolset, though it took me like two weeks to figure out how to use it.
Katherine Cousland, which is my current avatar and Emi Tabris. I think I stole both fo those names from somewhere, forgot where. Oh well, joining the bandwagon.

Edit: I used her to practice this whole process, though. I even can now use a moprh file and put it on a character via toolset, yay. But I have no frikkin idea how this works with the face replacer, lol.

I'm jealous. If I had red hair, I'd have to sleep outside with the cats, and the darkspawn.
@ Meri - great attempt! I like her.

Just out of curiosity, how many of you have tried to (re)create Alistair('s face/headmorph) in other games that have a fairly detailed character/player creator in them, like FIFA or the Sims for example?
I haven't tried myself, but I've seen a few Alistair sims posted here.
