Hello.

I go to Sulcher, talk to Fenix who give me the quest item to control the golem and tells me that he's going to mark me in the map the location of the Honnleath village, but... when he leaves, the village doesn't appear in my map.

It happent to me yesterday. Today, I've load and old save (half throught the Warden's Keep quest), played for an hour to go to the same place I was yesterday... and happend the same again. I don't know if it's a bug or something I'm doing wrong.

I have the DVD collector's edition, Windows 7 x64, executing the game as administrator and correctly conected with my account.

My brother has the Steam's Deluxe Edition, but he hasn't tryed The Stone Prisoner quest yet.

Same problem here m8s.

I had already re-install the game with no positive resoults. So, after 20h in game, I decided to begin one more time to check if this helps. Still, after reciving the item from merchant Honnleath doesn't sow up on my map.

So, dear BioWare, waiting for Your respond/help/solution.

Yes, I've read this thread, but I couldn't find a solution for this problem in it.
But I'll post this problem in it to see if someone knows how to fix it.

Thanks for your time.

Yes, that topic is about technical troubleshooting/downloading etc. Our problem is that, the Stone Prisoner IS working (as a prove is quest giver) but after reciving this super magical stick for golem sh*t happens - as we explained above.

This fixed the problem for me I had to get rid of all the XML files in the folder. This let me redownload it and now its all working.

What is meant to happen when we first had it installed was a quest was meant to pop up immediately as we went into the game (at least into camp, I haven't checked at the start of an origin story. Then the icon to some pass starting with S appears on your map, its highlighted so you can't miss it and then you follow it on from there. Okay first step is to go into your My Documents/ Bioware /Dragon Age /addins and delete the dao_prc_cp_2 folder, that is the stone prisoner content folder, so we are just making sure nothing stays behind. Once thats gone go to this topic

http://social.biowar.../58/index/81613

and Complete "all" the steps in this specific section.

....0.1.7. All of the DLC are stuck at 0% in my Download Content tab in the game.

it does mean you have to redownload all your DLC's but thats only a bother if you have crap internet like me!

once you've done all those steps all the DLCS should be ready to be downloaded in the games DLC menu. let them download and install and you should get the quest as soon as you load up a game. Its what worked for me at least, fingers crossed!

Finally, it works for me now!!!

What I did was:

- Deleted Manifest.xml in "C:\\Users\\\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Settings"

- Deleted (I made a backup, just in case) folder "dao_prc_cp_2" in "C:\\Users\\\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\AddIns"

- Executed the launcher, selected the configure utility and in the repair option, I pressed the button "Clear Download Cache".

After that, I ran the game in administrator mode, it downloaded again the Stone Prisoner DLC and... Honnleath appeared in the map in all my saved games.

This did not work for me. I did all those things and it reset the quest. I went back to talk to Fenix again and again he promised to mark Honnleath on my map, but again it was not there.

What else could be affecting this?

Yes I am having this problem too.

And the described solutions dont appear to have worked.

Perhaps a "disable" the mod, then force load the save without it. Resave.
Quit, remove the DLC, clear the cache.
Back into game, redownload the DLC, reenable it. Then reload save.

In KotOR, and in Oblivion, its known as clean saving.

Havent tried it yet tho.

EDIT:
Annoyingly on my first play thru before patching the DLC worked fine. After patching it didnt with subsequent play thru.

I am ALSO having this issue. I know the DLC is working b/c I was able to get the Blood Dragon Armor with no issue. However, the Stone Prisoner is giving me issues. I'm able to go to the NPC in the pass to get the golem rod and he says he "marks my map" but it isn't available as an option to go to the town on the main map.

I really have no clue and would like some help.

Thx

Yes, I wonder about the patch as well. My first play through the village did not load but I just skipped it and continued the game, thinking perhaps it would appear later (obviously it did not). Now when I am downloading the content again it says 'required version' and then 1.0 in red, but I've got version 1.01 or some such now that I've patched.

However, tossing out the content file resets the initial quest and I can go talk to Felix (Fenix?) as before. And as before I complete his quest and there is no new quest nor map marker. No amount of saving/exiting, or changing characters seems to fix this.

I am wondering if it IS the patch thats the problem.

I mean I did the quest without a problem in 1.0 in my first playthru; then updated and suddenly encountered this problem.

And so did loads of other folk apparently.

No, Honnleath did not appear for me the first time through either, before I patched. I just didn't bother trying to figure out why.

I eventually got the DLC working. Nothing in the FAQ did help in the matter btw.
What I did:
- Completely uninstall the game.
***warning*** for some stupid reason, the uninstall program doesn't keep your saves and settings by default, don't forget to check the sneaky corresponding checkboxes! ***warning***
- Reinstall the game
- DON'T INSTALL THE GAME PATCH 1.01
- Launch the game, connect, go to the DLC section and wait for DLC download and installation
- Play

Edit: I did try the exact same procedure as above with the patch 1.01 and the DLC was not working. That tends to prove the patch is the problem.
I have not tried to apply the patch 1.01 afterwards as I don't want to install the game again.

So you reckon its the patch thats broke it?

Ya see I have had another thought.

In my first play thru i got quite far into the game, did Brescilian forest and the first part of redcliff before going to to find Shale.

I wonder if perhaps its designed that Honnleath doesnt come up on the map until the blight has spread quite far. After the second stage of the MQ?

I was unpatched still on 1.0 and my DLC borked on Wednesday, so I think the patch was just coincidental.

No, FitScotGaymer, my experience is different there too. I had done as much of Redcliffe as you can do and was halfway through the mages tower before I installed the DLC the first time, and it didn't work.

Later tonight I will try the uninstall method and see what happens. I'll report back whatever I find. No time for it right now though.

Okay, so uninstalling and reinstalling worked. And I believe the thing patched itself before I ran it because it had the red 1.0 in the box next to the 'Required Version' setting.
