I have the same problem -- using version 1.0, never patched it.

You get the control rod, but the village never gets added to the map.

Finally, it works for me now!!!

What I did was:
- Deleted Manifest.xml in "C:\\\\Users\\\\\\\\Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\Settings"
- Deleted (I made a backup, just in case) folder "dao_prc_cp_2" in "C:\\\\Users\\\\\\\\Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\AddIns"
- Executed the launcher, selected the configure utility and in the repair option, I pressed the button "Clear Download Cache".

After that, I ran the game in administrator mode, it downloaded again the Stone Prisoner DLC and... Honnleath appeared in the map in all my saved games.

Image IPB I did this as well to fix the problem -- it seems to have worked, Honneleth has shown up on my map.  I'm running XP Home SP3, 32 bit.

BIOWARE -- fix this bug!

There is a good thread on DLC here: http://social.biowar.../58/index/81613

A "good thread" isn't needed.

A PATCH to the game and/or DLC is needed. Until then, bioware/ea should not sell or allow any new DLC content downloads until you have the game and DLC bugs worked out.

I also have this problem. I tried this:

------------

- Deleted Manifest.xml in "C:\\\\\\\\Users\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Documents\\\\\\\\BioWare\\\\\\\\Dragon Age\\\\\\\\Settings"

- Deleted (I made a backup, just in case) folder "dao_prc_cp_2" in "C:\\\\\\\\Users\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Documents\\\\\\\\BioWare\\\\\\\\Dragon Age\\\\\\\\AddIns"

- Executed the launcher, selected the configure utility and in the repair option, I pressed the button "Clear Download Cache".

--------------

But now I only have the "Buy" option available on the downloadable content page. My redeem code that I received with the game doesn't work anymore.

Huh...I put the folder back, but not the XML file and now I got Honnleath...but at the same time Sepulcher's pass disappeared. Is this normal?

Actually, I have a VERY simple way for this, I finished the game, Then started a new one with cheats, I bought Stone Golem, Started the quest but did not see it on my map. So i just exited to menu, When to downloadable content, Disabled both of my DLC's then enabled Stone Golem, Went it game and Wa-La. Easy as pie ^^ Enjoy.

I just did this on my computer, with XP. It works! Just to be safe, copy the two items and save them to desktop till you see if it works for you.

Thanks again for the help, to the orginal posting describing the steps

Hey wolterstoffer:

Did you pay attention to your Gameversion being 1.0? Or did you try   _wiwo_'s   solution on your patched game edition?
This MAY be the reason it's not working.
My Dragon Age was patched to 1.02 but I uninstalled and reinstalled it (don't forget to back up your characters-folder!) and then I did as _wiwo_ said and it worked BUT:

Sulcher's Pass was gone and Honnleath appeared. So maybe you should make sure to have a savegame where you already accepted the quest  just so you don't get stuck.
I hope I could help!:wizard:

I got it to work without reinstalling it. On the main page I went to dlc and went to the farthest tab on the right, deselected and selected. Once I talked to Felix he gave me the quest and I could see honnleath.
