Yet PSN still does not, this is rediculous.
I so regret buying on PS3 rather than 360.

I hate switch puzzles in any rpg with a passion since the first time I came across them in Anvil of Dawn. It must be a deficiency in my brains makeup but they frustrate the hell out of me.
Apart from that grievance I thought the DLC was pretty much worth the money. It was good to play my old Grey Warden again.
As has been mentioned the battles at times are extremely hard, especially if you play on hard+ difficulty and you have not played the game for a while. Take lots of potions.
Also the lack of a merchant to get rid of your excess baggage from an imported character means you will have to destroy some items if your inventory is almost full.

The story, in and of itself, was really good. I enjoyed being back in the Deep Roads, for I always liked that part of DA:O. The feel of the adventure and the scenery/dwarven architecture were amazing, as always. I really love seeing/exploring the dwarven architecture for it is massive and grand and magnificent… and every time I gaze upon it, I am greatly saddened for I gaze upon what the noble dwarven people have lost to the Darkspawn; I look upon the never ending struggle and ultimate loss and sacrifice of countless lives. Although I do believe one of the load screens’ texts mentioned something to the effect that the dwarves were starting to take back the old Thaigs as the Darkspawn were retreating – and that gives me hope for the future.
My thing is that this adventure was not really connected to DA:O – I didn’t get that sense that it was a part of the whole DA:O experience. The Stone Prisoner, Warden’s Keep and even Return to Ostagar (to me) were integral parts of the whole DA:O experience. With the last three DLCs, I don’t get that sense at all. They are merely short stories tacked on to the world of Thedas almost as an afterthought.
Let me explain; with Darkspawn Chronicles, Leliana’s Song and Golems of Amgarrak, I get to play the whole campaign once, to experience what it has to offer, beat the adventure, get the rewards and possibly go back and replay certain parts of the DLC in order to obtain any trophies I might have missed. And then… that’s it. There’s really no need/point or incentive for me to experience these “Other Campaigns” ever again. Yet with The Stone Prisoner, Warden’s Keep and yes even Return to Ostagar, I will always experiences those adventures every time I do a new playthrough of DA:O – because to me they are part of the story. With The Stone Prisoner, after playing through the adventure, you get Shale and she is a part of my party just as any other companion. Plus, her story was integrated into the main quest in the Deep Roads beautifully and I take her with me to the Deep Roads. It just feels right that she be there… just as Oghren is there right beside me in the Deep Roads. With Warden’s Keep, you have Levi come seek you out in camp, you have a Keep to liberate, get cool stuff throughout the mission (and not just after beating it once, the cool stuff is open to your every character automatically – you actually have to go through the adventure in order to get the blood powers and weapons and the storage chest) and your party are right here with you, reacting to the events around you (er… at least I don’t recall getting that jarring feeling of disconnect when enjoying that DLC – it’s been a while). And with Return to Ostagar, I really love that DLC, because it was powerful, emotional… and yes, my party members were right there with me in spirit, and not just the body. Alistair and Wynne were talking to me and each other, reacting to the events around us. Of course Morrigan remained suspiciously silent throughout the whole adventure, but Alistair and Wynne more than made up for her lack of contribution.
The last three DLCs were simply short stories plucked out of nowhere and lacked that wonderful immersion aspect that makes me feel connected to the world and events around me, making me feel as actually being part of those events, taking an active role in shaping those events, as opposed to being a mere observer.
Like I said, the story itself was pretty amazing and kudos to the writers
Picture this: some time after you complete the main quest in Orzammar, the events of this DLC become available to you. You come across Jerrick in a random world encounter and he brings you the news of Amgarrak and pleads for your aid. This quest becomes available in your Journal and you can travel to Orzammar at any time and play out the events of this DLC. You could even do something along the lines of Return to Ostagar, where it was implied that Alistair and Wynne would very much like to accompany you when you head that way, since they have a connection to that place/those events. When Jerrick informed me that he could trust no one but me with the news of Amgarrak, I was a bit taken aback and wanted to set him straight, telling him that I did not triumph over the Deep Roads and bring back the token of a Paragon alone… yes, I did have help, my trusty party. Personally, it would make sense to have Oghren and Shale voice their desire to accompany you to Amgarrak because, again, they have that connection to the place/events. Of course, other people might prefer to bring other party members, which I could understand them being silent throughout the adventure, but the preferred companions would have to react to the events around, would have to be right there with you in spirit as well as body, just as Alistair and Wynne were in Return to Ostagar. Just a little effort made to incorporate this DLC into the world of DA:O would go a long way to make this experience an amazing one.
This DLC experience was further jarring for me and lacking connection because Jerrick was the narrator the whole time, while my Warden was just… there. I think in the whole DLC we have a total of 3 conversations where I could chose my dialogue, however my dialogue choices didn’t really have an impact at all on the events around me. Jerrick’s response was either “Oh, I hope you are right” or “STFU!”…
BioWare, I have enjoyed the DLCs (some more than others) that you put out, that’s why I continue to support you, by purchasing the DLCs that you release. But like I said, there is a difference between a meh DLC (which I believe the last 3… no, wait, the last 4 DLCs, can’t forget those prank packs, to be) and an amazing DLC (which I believe the first 3 DLCs to be). With the first 3 DLCs, I felt like I was right there, part of the action and I actually had an effect on the world around me, with my companions being right there beside me both in body and in spirit. With the last 3 DLCs, I felt like I was merely an observer, totally disconnected, just along for the ride with no real impact or choice in shaping the world/events around me. With these last 3… erm 4 DLCs, it almost seems like there is someone trying to determine just how much money can be squeezed out of something that required as little time, effort and expense as possible. BioWare, you yourself have set the standard with your previous work and perhaps that is why it is such a disappointment when some of your work falls short of that standard. Put a little more effort into your product, come up with new and fun maps, as opposed to continuously recycling what we have already seen. Spend a little more money and get the voice actors back in to help create that sense of immersion and connection, with your companions reacting to the world/events around you and to your choices. You already have fantastic story writers in place, for the stories itself are simply wonderful, you merely have to build on what's already there.
I provide you with some (hopefully) inspirational pieces:
Let's finish with this short story, "Other Campaign" format DLCs and get back to the fantastic stories and experiences that make us feel like we are still part of this wondrous world you have created. On that note, I am definitelly looking forward to The Lair of the Shadow Broker with great anticipation, for the DLCs for ME2 have been fantastic: Cerberus Network (yey Zaeed

I honestly cannot understand people getting angry about the length of the DLC. For me as an English gentleman, the cost is roughly £3, which I feel is a bargain. People need to manage their expectations, and stop expecting another Awakenings for a fraction of the cost. The example of the Fallout 3 DLC's have been used, but to be frank, they were roughly £15 each at release, which was nearly the cost of Awakenings. These are always going to be short, sharp and to the point. They're not going to be meandering expansion packs. That said however, I would have preferred a little more recognition from the main NPC's. This was mentioned previously by another player but I'd like to re-iterate it...as a dwarf I was named as a Paragon of my kind, but I'm referred to simply as Warden. The dwarves venerate the paragons as living embodiments of everything they should aspire to. It would have been nice to feel a little more awe coming from the Dace family. On the other hand however, perhaps I should manage my expectations a little better too?
It's not the price that bothers me. It's the fact that everything since RTO (which while it recyled some places, we got new things and going back there actually made sense story wise) has been pretty uninspiring and unoriginal, it just looks like barely any effort is being made at all with these DLC, just reusing the same deep roads maps we have all seen in Origins/Awakening and adding some mystical smoke to block/obscure the old parts of the maps just seems damn right lazy.
I'm not going to include the Stone Prisoner as that was clearly part of the main game anyway but Wardens Keep for me is a great DLC (Kasumi and Overlord for ME2 are also good), I would be happy to pay a bit more for DLC of this quality. I would rather get one great £10 DLC every 6 months than three half arsed lazy attempts in the same period.
One of the reasons I guess i'm posting my frustrations is I actually thought Gollums was going to be all new, I was under that impression, in future i'll wait and read others views first, If it's just reused maps again then I'll pass, something new though i'm interested for sure.

Seems one of the golem research scrolls has no effect whatsoever: Mechanics is supposed to "boost performance" but has no discernible effect at all: it doesn't add any skill, hp, stamina, stats...
I believe that one adds two levels, letting you assign attribute points.
Craig, I do not believe that scroll had the intended effect when I played yesterday. I will go back and verify tonight but I am pretty sure that after picking up that scroll, I did not have any new attribute points to assign to my golem. I assume we are talking about my golem and not my PC.
EDIT: PS. Although I imported my Awakening character and, hence, was already level 35, if that has any impact?

I think the reason this was standalone was to accomodate people who owned Awakening. Either way you do it there's the list of pros and cons to it (you're either getting a seemingly disconnect episode or you're replaying Origins/Awakening just to access the new content).

This seems to be another 'meh' DLC. An hour or so of pure dungeon crawling, almost no dialog, it's hardly worth the money.

I love what our artists did with the Harvester. When I saw the concept of it, I wanted to applaud. And when it was in game and moving, even better. And indeed - the items you get in Awakening and Origins are tied to achievements. Congrats to all the people that got the final achievement (it took me hours to get internally, so I feel your pain).
It was memorably disgusting!
What I loved most about the Harvester is that the first time I glimpsed it, I was all 'that doesn't look so tough, maybe the marketing department were exaggerating.' And then I walked into the last room and it ... did something I won't spoil for those who haven't finished the game ... and I swore. A lot.

I will say that I agree with Drago on the re-using of assets that has been prevalent in the DA DLCs. It does make me want to go back to Awakening to see if that area is indeed re-used as I did not notice it on my first playthrough. Then again I only played Awakening once.
Oddly enough while I would harp on RTO endlessly for this, this DLC at least added new things and felt kind of like a challenge pack that you would see for various games as DLC. Personally the story was an interesting continuation on Deep road lore, the new enemy types were cool and the challenges lived up to its name.
But again the re-use of in game levels is disappointing.
I do need to play through it again. Got destroyed on Hard difficulty.
Ortan Thaig. Click on the map and rotate it clockwise 90 degrees.

Kal’Hirol Trade Quarter. Click on the map and rotate it counterclockwise 90 degrees.
http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Kal%27Hirol_-_Trade_Quarter
(I think I got the rotations right..)
Kal’Hirol (Trade Quarter) took me a bit more to recognize only because I played Awakenings only once and over a month ago. But once I saw that first orb over the same pit that imprisoned human was in from Awakenings it was over to the Wiki site to confirm my suspicions.
Your right it is lazy but with the apparent success of Leliana’s Song reusing all the same locations without any real outcry from the consumers its not surprising at all. It seems to many people have the “Oh its ok that they reused the same location. We wouldn’t want them to do any actual work now would we? I’ll buy anything they make regardless of its actual quality.” mentality.
I cant wait to see what they try and shovel on us next time. Maybe we’ll see Redcliffe Castle reused next time. Its funny how people griped about BioWare reusing the same base layouts in Mass Effect 1 for their UNC side quests but yet the same standard on reused locations has no effect here for these downloads. Its like the developers cant be bothered to create new locations for DA for some reason for content your paying for. Yet for ME2 they can create new locations?
-I suppose your going to use that line on everyone who didn’t like this download? But then I suppose they will also be called elitist as well for voicing their opinions because they don’t match yours. By the way, If I’m an elitist what does that make you, the right nut of God?Melca36 wrote...

It is a nice DLC for $5 and I sure am not going to argue its value. The one disappointment for me is that I am not having much luck with the puzzle/switches then I find out some are purple and some are blue. I am color blind and never knew there was a difference which has made for a rather interesting/frustrating experience to say the least. Hey Bioware, love ya but 25% of the male population is red/green color blind, help us out just a bit with a symbol thrown in here or there to show a delta?
You were not the first to have an issue with it or notice the problem. Not having some sort of system like a symbol on the doors/chests or something just seems like weak planning. Kind of like the lack of language support again for Russian or Polish.Zhadow wrote...
Just wanted to make a comment, if you are color blind the color based puzzles are going to frustrate the heck out of you.
