one of the best dlc in my oppinion a few minor bugs such as health potions dont work and swords being stuck on ur back, always take a bow with you, my golem hit a Revenant on the roof and only killed him with a bow, Brilliant ending begs for a sequal

-A bug like the health potions that don’t work and it’s one of their best downloads? I would consider that a major flaw when your groups survivability is on the line in the boss battle at least, especially on hard or nightmare difficulty.

There is nothing more fun than not being able to switch to one of your companions to use a potion when they need it (and they are to slow or ignore to use the tactics set up you set up for them) and they stand around with their thumbs up their rears while your Warden gets pounded.

My last attempt to take on the Harvester left me running around the room being chased by some mutant slug and 3 of his closest friends giving me no time to cast a spell all because my group died and keeps dying within moments of reviving them to even be any help. So much fun….

Not available on PS3 Store for Asia (Taiwan).

Also, Leliana's Song is still not available on PS3 for Asia.

Anyone know a reason why?

This was okay... before I saw the price I was hoping for something a little longer.

I wish they'd do more DLC about side companions. Isn't that what most people want? Give me a prequel story about Duncan or something.

There's nothing that goes there, unfortunately.

Did anyone else notice the Runic Golem's icon change constantly during the DLC?

Ummm. I've had a look through a lot of the comments on here so I have the feeling that my question will seem a stupid one as nobody has needed to ask it. I got the dlc, completed it (not on hard or nightmare yet). But I have looked and looked, and i must have not gotten all of the Golem research notes, cos I havn't gotten the trophy 4 it. Now I have searched high amd low, and can't see anymore chests etc that I havn't already looted.... Is it a glitch or am I missing somthing?

There was a whole room I missed first playthrough.

*spoilers*

You have to do a bit of back tracking after switching fade colors and loot a room full of golems. There is some spirit healer spell upgrades for the golem there too.

Finished it yesterday and I liked it but I have a question. Who's bright idea was it to make Normal in this DLC harder than Hard is in DAO and DAA? There's a major discrepancy in the difficulty and I wasn't particularly pleased about having to switch it to casual when I'm used to playing on hard...

The DLC warns you that it's a harder, more challenging, a more difficult DLC for experienced players. The reason it's harder, is because it takes place after Awakening, which means you would be more leveled up, which means you need a harder difficulty. In fact, the difficulty is what is keeping this DLC in the positive reviews. People who played on easy, say it's not as fun.

Having to reload 20 times and then having to drop the difficulty all the way down just to get past one battle isn't fun either. And yeah it was supposed to be more difficult, it just seemed to be obscenely more difficult compared to the other two. It's not like I imported a lvl 18 character. The one I imported was lvl 35 which isn't exactly weak. Felt like I was trying to gain access to Orzammar as a lvl 7 all over again.

I played up to the last fight. I think it is anyway.
I am playing on hard and my level 35 character is mental.
I find my entire party drops like flies leaving my warden to finnish up.
And when this happen the hard fights are really intense,

I am really enjoying this DLC. It is good to make use of the new weapons I got near the end of Awakening.
it is DLC like this that makes all the time you spent levelling up and getting armour and weapons worth it.

To bad it is so short but for the what you pay I found it good value.

I hope they bring out more like this. :)

I tend to play on extra wimpy mode, but I decided to bump it up to hard for the achievement (note: Not even nightmare). The Harvester completely kicked my ass. My level 34 rogue (Ranger, shadow, bard, archer) completely curb stomped everything up to the Harvester (well, the room with the 6 golems was tough), but the Harvester really brought some challenge. By the time it was halfway down in the first phase, my entire party dropped and the rest of the fight consisted of me kiting while guzzling down health potions and using decoy to get a few big hits off before resuming the kiting. The second phase was pretty simple, but damn was it rough. Got it down my first shot, but I was pretty much a walking corpse. I loved the fight, great job Bioware on creating such a difficult encounter that really pushed my warden to the limit (and the rewards were well worth it =D)

I played on Normal, with a L31 imported mage character which had gone through DAO and DAA, and I found it easier than I was expecting.  Died a couple of times (at least once because I haven't played DA for a while, and completely forgot to keep my eye on the health bars) but in all I didn't have too much trouble.  The room full of golems was tough, and the arcane horror / revenant look-alike double acts that were doing the rounds weren't a walkover either, and the harvester as an enemy kicks posterior.

I enjoyed it but it felt too short (I don't mean for the price, I mean I got to the end and thought "oh, wait, that was the end?"  I'd have quite happily paid an extra couple of quid for another couple of hours playtime).  The ending made me think there was another big battle in store (which would have been cool), but then the credits rolled...

Edit:  BTW, I think I was expecting it to be harder because BW kind of overplayed the difficulty in the pre-release marketing.  I guess it'd be harder for people who have created a new character, or not played Awakening.

I have to agree with you. It was more difficult than the main game, so I think the difficulty warning had to do with the Grim Reaper acheavement.

Maybe you're right - though I played the main game on Normal as well.

Edit:  Of course, maybe I just had a build that was well suited to this DLC.  I also think this'd be much harder as a warrior or rogue character since there's no companion mage (yes the golem had a few spells but not up to a full mage).  Jerrik and Brogan make capable party members but I'm glad the PC was a decently speced-out mage

My level 25 Arcane Warrior had no problem on Hard, of course I wonder why do the DLC offer any companions if they die in a matter of seconds, so it was much more of a solo chalenge, but at least I haven't died once. I doubt that I will play this DLC however in the near future, but I was a bit disappointed beacuse my favourite armor set (Warden Commander Set) and the Starfang does not carry over...

Oh yes, it definitely was!
I can't begin to count how often I cursed that I chose to play my warrior instead of one of my mages! :P
