spoilers:

In the PC version, the Reapers Cudgel shows up like the Skull Crusher Mace in the Golems of Amgarrak DLC with Volcanic Aurum material, while imported in Awakening it looks like a regurlar Mace....

I really wanted to dual wield Skul Crusher and Reapers Cudgel >_> (because they looked similiar)

Obviously this shouldn't be happening, I smell Starfang all over again...

They seem to be having the same problem a lot, first in awakenings now in this dlc. Was hoping that I could swap the model from the dlc onto the one that you get in the main game, but can't seem to find it in my save from this dlc. Image IPB

Was a fun romp and well worth a few euros. Completed it on hard and had a couple of "you've got to be kidding me" moments, but nothing frustrating enough to make it tedious. I'm kind of dreading reaching it with my nightmare playthrough though.

I played the room full of Golems on nightmare for over three hours trying to kill them all.  I finally just took the chicken way out. lol

Ah. I know what you mean.  I've been practicing my non-existent tactics now for about two hours in that golem room on nightmare. I refuse to go down to hard. Otherwise this has been manageable in nightmare, but that room..  laaaaaalaalaa. Time for tea I think and then I shall try again!

Hihi. I enjoy this dlc greatly. I am happy to have my head handed on the plate after attempting too cocky approach :P Thank you Bioware. I am pleased! Kisses and hugs and all that.

Addition since I again nicely killed the conversation: golems were sliced and diced but yes, the harvester does pose a challenge as well. I have been practicing dying on last quarter of harvester's life and reloading for few hours now

And I rather pay 5 euros for this dlc than use that money for burger or pint which give nothing (except fat padding for cold winter nights) permanent in return. But thats just me i suppose. I think this is again worthy way to spend that coin as I do replay dlcs as well as the original game so many times that my social life is complaining.

Is this right? I got a weapon from this DLC for my ongoing Origins characters that is not anything exceptional but I can sell it for the bargain of 339 sovereigns? Make it 678 with the trade glitch... now that's an expensive piece of...

I'd say after. Unless the mnsters and final boss are adjusted to your level if you go before, at level 35 in NM it was an impossible boss fight because even with a powerful char, the rest of the party really sucks and will die and leave you alone to face that battle. It would take me longer to win that one than the length of the whole DLC.

Man, this was pretty mediocre. It was a giant puzzle dungeon crawl. If you're into that then rock out with this DLC.

Other than figuring out how to beat the room of golems without dying I'm not sure of the replay value........ For me anyway...... All in all it was worth $5..... but pretty lackluster story-wise for the story lovers. Tighten your belts, this is a pretty light meal.

One other negative critique: Although I thought hearing the diaries was kind of haunting in a good way, a lot of party banter would fire at the same time making most of what either party said illegible.

I have liked everything else (although haven't tried darkspawn chronicles) ... but I truly hated this. Just makes you bad tempered and life is too short.

Oh without a doubt. The party you get in GoA is way off balance.... That is unless you're playing as a mage yourself. Since the party clearly lacks one. :pinched:

The fact that you can't heal the golem with regular health poultices was really annoying. If you don't have a mage/healer Warden, and the golem drops, then you're really screwed because there is no one else to heal you. I wound up fighting 2/3rds of the first phase, and all of the second phase solo as my rouge/ranger. Came close to death a couple of times I can tell you that.

It took me 7 tries. I was like "why did the golem had to die first" Didnt think I would be able to beat it without the golem.

We asked for a challenge, and I believe we got one.

The Harvester was kind of a bastard. But nothing my 2h wielding rogue couldn't handle. ;)

I just did it on Hard, it was a nice challenge. My solution was to have my warden as an Archer standing near the switch so I could hit it right away. It also really helped that my char was lvl31 and equiped with really good gear, the dps from an Archer with the Awakenings talents is insane.

I tried it on a "fresh" lvl20 mage and warrior before and it was horrible...

So did I with a 'fresh' lvl20 mage, got ripped apart just after I defeated the humanoid form :P  Wonder if its even doable with a 'fresh' character in Hard :P
