LEGEND!
BTW I really loved this DLC once I was finished pulled all my hair out. Really fun piece to play and them Achivements were just utterly cruel!
Nice work though for sure.

David Gaider has been quoted saying that the God Child is not canon. So a DLC about something that not everyone can do is kinda cruel to those who did not make that choice.Zy-El wrote...
Actually, I'm hoping for a Morrigan-based expansion that will settle the whole god-baby issue. It would have to be the size of an expansion though; a DLC would be too short to do it justice. And it would be in Orlais, after all (according to the epilogue balloons about a certain mage appearing in the court of Orlais).

I see your point but the same could be said about awakening. Technically half the players shouldn't have been able to play that.

How do you figure? You can simply create an awsomesauce Orlisan Warden. Or you can deal with Biowares ret-con of The Warden...but in all seriousness I don't consider that the same as the DR. Thats a personal choice the player makes, if a DLC about the god child was released Bioware would basicly be saying "F you Ultimate Sacrifice people!" The ret-conned Warden does not make the DR a fact in your awakenings file either. It has no explination it's simply a ret-con that makes no sense lol.

The point I'm trying to make is that Awakening said
"ok ultimate people if thats how you played it, then we'll just ignore it and pretend it didn't happen and you can carry playing as the same Warden"
which is fine by me and I'm hoping a Morrigan DLC would take a similar approach of "lets pretend you did".
That way everyone can play regardless of choices made.

Awakenings didn't exactly ignore that choice. People were given a choice to import their Warden or make a new one. Now while I was rather hoping it would import the information rather then the character thats just not the case. Gaider said they didn't bother createing an in-game reason for an out of game decision. (refering to the import.) I see you're point when you say it that way. However it just seems like a different situation to me.Ad Dugg wrote...

e.g. Mass Effect you can play through as a femshep, but the "canon" Shephard is male. So any comics, novels etc. will always be about a male Shephard.

Shepard is a "default" character, meaning has "pre-set" characteristics by Bioware. "You" just choose some from the pool of possibilities, gender be one of them.

Neither of them are canon, the choice you made is infact your own personal canon choice.

"Canon" are the characters and
facts that remain "the same" for all players and throughout all
playthroughs: ie.: The Death of the Archdemon, the night attack on
Redcliffe, Flemeth's succesful rescue in the Tower of Ishal, Morrigan's
flight at the end, Bann Teagan gets to survive, etc.
Well no, not quite. It's like I said, canon is the official story of what happened. It's possible to play a non-canon game.
Mass Effect was a bad example, so let's say Baldur's Gate. The canon party is Imoen, Khalid, Jaheira, Minsc and Dynaheir, although you by no means have to play through with that party.
Or KotOR for instance. Official Star Wars canon is that the main protaganist is male and light side.
Nothing stopping you from playing through as a female dark side jedi however.
