Anomen Runs Away to Kill Saerk

Hey everyone, just a quick question. Does Anomen leave to kill Saerk before or after he becomes a knight? It has been a long time since I've played, and for some reason I thought it was before he passed the Test, but in my game right now he is already a knight and he hasn't left... oh and yeah, I'm in a romance with him.
Anyways, thought I'd ask to make sure. Thanks!

It's after. There are a few more romance dialogues before the event in question occurs.

Haven't done for a while but it depends what path you have had Anomen go down, before the test his sister is killed and you can choose to go after Saerk or not. If he is already a knight in your game I'm guessing you didn't kill Saerk. I think there should be a few Anomen related messengers to come.

. I also have another related question, which isn't exactly highly relevant to my game, but I was curious so I figured I'd see if anyone had any ideas. I was continuing along in my game and I had just finished the Cult of the Eyeless Quest. When I emerged from the Sewers, Sir Ryan Trawl (or whatever his name is) was standing there. I was like, "Well that's weird, don't you normally hang out in the Radiant Heart building?" So I talked to him and he told "Squire Anomen" that it was time to take his Test, even though Anomen was already a knight. I assumed it was a glitch and reloaded, playing the game without talked to Sir Ryan Trawl. It's not highly important, like I said, but I'm kinda curious. Any ideas what happened?
