Ok, I am new to DA Toolset and new to TheNexusForums for that matter. I have just recently installed the DA Toolset and I have been familiarizing myself with it. I tried to create an area to be playable in the single campaign. I followed every single step on the DAToolset wiki, created module, yadda, yadda, yadda. When i go into my game, I see the area that I created but I am unable to enter the area. It shows on the map, but it's gray. Now I don't know if I messed up on the script (I left it as the default script, core script) or maybe I put the incorrect tag name for my area pin on the world map. The thing is, I don't understand what I am doing wrong and I tried to GOOGLE the problem, but didn't find anything that would explain it. Like I said I am very new to the toolset and new at modding. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been stuck with this problem for 4 days now.

I was able to create a weapon and I have it in game :P, but that was easy.
Thanks :D

Hold your horses, if your new you should take it step by step. if you haven't start by making your module standalone. so that you can determine if the area load fine and everything inside works. linking it to the OC can be done when you removed all other possible errors.

when it works it's time for switching the module into a addin and setting up the worldmap and the necissary scripts.

I see, i guess you are correct about trying it first on my module. But I followed all the steps o the tutorial. The one thing DAToolset wiki didn't mention was, that when you create a pin on the world map, that pin is set to inactive so you have to set it to active on the pin's properties. I was able to find this out by searching here and found this forum http://social.biowar...74/index/399917 which explained what was happening. I went ahead and did that and my area is working perfectly. I guess I should have searched a little harder. I appreciate your awesome quick response CID.

If you have any other advices for me in regards to the toolset I will gladly take any of it. I'm new at this and I know I am going to make many mistakes before I get it right, :) . Thanks again.

like everything take it one step at a time, take the time to disect the tutorial so you understand each step and so that you know how todo things slightly diffrent.
