I just installed Golems of Amgarrak, I choose import and select my old character, but after 1 seconds I choose "import" the game gives me an error "Unable to Load Area"

Is that because of my old character, or the game version, or what? Please help

I hve no idea, but it seems that the same subject has been popular previously:

"Your search for « Area » returned 51 result/s."

Try a little research using Search if you don't get a direct answer.  Game forums are way down in readership during the summer, so many questions never do get direct answers. 

I was able to narrow it down some.  This is when it is limited to the DA Tech forum only:

"Your search for « load area » returned 23 result/s."

Allright, problem solved, i think it was an authorization problem.

I, somehow, can't install DLCs through the game itself even though I paid for it. So I downloaded the dazip file and installed with Updater. But you should install Golem's Might (for DAO and Awakening) too, without these, the main game won't open.
