I am using Windows 7 Backup to a network location, including a system image. However after installing Dragon Age: Origins to D:, Windows Backup now considers D: critical because of the service DAUpdaterSvc that dragon age installs. However this is a problem for me, I can easily store the OS BOOT SSD on the network location, but my 1TB D: hard disk is a little bit harder.
Any way to have this service on C: even if the game is on D:? Just the service nothing else, the game content should still be present on D:.
I want to avoid to backup D: where I have games which I either can download again (steam, direct2drive) or I have physical disk for.

See Choosing Drives in Windows 7 System Image where other people are having similar problems (with sysimage being forced on drives)
