OK, was playing ME2 and the game crashed in Jacob's loyalty mission. When I rebooted it, I had been logged out of my online profile, and my achievements had been wiped. Considering that I have beaten the game a fair few times, this was most of them. What I want to know is - has this happened to anyone? The crash was it just stalling and crashing my PC while I was attempting to fire my Sniper (I think) and there was no error message, just a repeating sound noise and total failure. Didn't lose my saves, thankfully, but has this happened to anyone else? <_<

I've seen some reports of this happening to people. The most common response is to just frequently backup your profile in anticipation. I don't think there's actually any way to fix this, aside from going through and getting them all again.
It's happened to me a couple of times in Mass Effect 1, but I was able to use the console to reinstate my achievements. Too bad there's no console access in Mass Effect 2, huh? <_<
