Every now and then when I throw a nade it wont explode. This was only a minor annoyance until Feros, when I had to kill four colonists because my thorian gas andes wouldnt go off. I threw three grenades, nothing happened. At least I could save the other 12 colonists.
Anyone know why?

Press grenade again and they go off. It took me a while to figue that out

Haha, yeah, I didn't even know about that either until I was half way through my second playthrough.
I did notice, however, that you CAN just run right up to the colonists and bash their faces in with melee. It's even more effective than the gas grenades if you've got reliable shields.

Oh man, thanks for telling me, knowing that before couldve saved me a lot of trouble had I known it earlier. Makes me wish controls in ME1 where clearer.
