I went and bought that album thanks to this thread. "Epic" is somehow even too small a word to describe that song.

I think I might even like them more than Immediate Music.

Yeah this kind of thing is ideal trailer music. No screamy metal please.

Since the 'who is excited' thread seems to be pages & pages behind I would like to say in this thread that I'm still very excited!

For thise who like Two Steps from Hell, check out some Clint Mansell.

Lux Aeterna from Requiem for a Dream

and

Death is the Road to Awe
from The Fountain

or my personal favourite Surface of the Sun from Sunshine, fabulous.

Apologies for the self indulgent post but all of the pieces posted are hugely positive, to me.

Ooh yeah I already have the Requiem soundtrack. Good stuff. I saw Sunshine but I don't recall what the music sounded like off the top of my head. Might have to go check that out. Same with The Fountain.

Edit: listening to the song from Sunshine now. Ok yes I remember this one. It's lovely <3

I love soundtrack music like that. It's fabulous music to work to (especially creative things).

"Excited" is a very tame word compared to how I truly feel every time I find out new information. I typically do something like this:

Am now picturing the dwarf in your avatar doing that dance and it's adorable. D'awww.

*snip*

The bouncy Master in a frock is also very similar to my increasingly commonplace reaction to new info.

I want sismance. More like fem!Warden and Morrigan, and less like Jack always assuming I'm trying to get into her pants.

... That's not exactly what I meant by sismance. I meant that it'd be nice to have a really close friendship with another female character. Once you got past Morrigan's initial barbs, she turns into a really great friend. The same thing was a missed opportunity for Jack in ME2.

Alistair was a great friend until he talked about licking lamp posts and Zevran was a good wingman. Oh wait that was unpositive.

Also, HAIRSTYLES that don't make me cringe every time I look at my character without modding the game. Preemptive thanks BW!

Looking forward to the "tone" icon in dialogue. No jokes; I'm really looking forward to seeing a fist and psyching myself up for a really badass reply. Also, while I enjoyed DA:O's combat, I certainly feel the console version needs an overhaul. Was sceptical about it previously, but I just saw a preview on 1up (old stuff, haven't been there in a while) likening it to Ninja Gaiden and my jaw hit the floor.
