- to see old companions and new ones.
- more talents, skills and spells
- all specializations back and new ones with more spells/talents
- more spells/talents in each magic school and weapons, with sure new magic schools and weapons.
- more options in character creation, like colors and shapes.
- more crafting and enchantments

But anyway, yes, companions! And really, I'm just quite looking forward the game in general.
You know, I am actually considering using the default Hawke, because his beard has totally won me over. Default meaning the one shown in the ads, of course -- I'm not sure that he'll actually be set as the default for character creation. But if he isn't, I'll probably be spending some time trying to perfectly recreate Ad Hawke.Dave of Canada wrote...

Oh also I want more awesome finishers and comments on how the Dalish Elf Warrior Theron beated the Archdemon without dying! Also a Warden-near-her-calling romance please. That would be a good tragic-romance story. Even the Greeks would approve!
That's a great idea!

Hrm that would be interesting. I kind of want to play my own Warden when she goes to her Calling, so she can die at the side of her love and all that tragic goodness, but I don't know if there would be enough story there for a game or a sequel. So this might be okay instead, I dunno.

I would also like a male mage love interest. And I would also like him to be super nerdy and awkward.
With the thick glasses and abacus? <3

I want something similar to what happened to Sagacious Zu in JE and I want it to be an epic death for whatever companion it happens to.

You really think so?I was plan on using it in a story set in the Dragon Age Universe and thought "Why not suggest it too the brilliant writers at bioware?"

Indeed, a tragic romance is rarely portrayed from a male viewpoint, especially if the male is not the doomed partner.

thats a great idea! but i think the warden would've to be recruited pretty young or at least have done the joining pretty early. the casual gamer often doesn't want an old female LI xD.RogueGeth wrote...

Perhaps, although I might leave the abacus at camp. The glasses wouldn't be necessary, it's more in the attitude. Someone who's socially awkward because he's so used to academia and has a very sweet disposition but always seems to stumble over his words, especially when he's nervous (which is especially around Hawke (if in a romance)). Alistair did this a bit, but I want nerdier! Alistair was too much of a jock (not that I didn't like Alistair). I would also like for said nerdy mage to be romanceable by both sexes, if possible.

That is a really good point actually. I would play a male character for that if it were really good.

Anyways, Bioware has set themselves up with a quite possible epic tale of betrayal, corruption, and revolution! Let hope they pull it off.

Well, 30 years is about the absolute max time you have. She could be particularly weak against the taint or something to get around it.

what i could imagine is here being the child of a grey warden. if im not wrong those are tainted, arent they? i dont know if that alone leads to an early calling but combined with a joining i could imagine that it gives a veeeeery early calling...Anarya wrote...

Aw. That sounds so cute. As long as he isn't Alistair in mage clothing. Heh.

I think they are supposed to be not tainted, actually. Yeah I don't know either. I guess the taint can't cross the placental membrane? Or something. Who knows.

More people in the cities would be nice also, because I don't think Denerim, with his market place, could be considered as the main city of Ferelden.I want something that could tribute Athkatla, not asking for the same town, but I'm just asking for no more ghost town.

hmmm, im not sure if thats so dramatic as the other option. an abomination is something you HAVE to kill, no choices there so the feeling for the player isn't that strong. on the calling way you'd have to chose if you wanted to join her...RogueGeth wrote...
How about more sensitive to it? I mean seriously even Alistair said it to you. She could more sensitive to it than others. I mean especially if she is mage so she has to fend off against the Fade while the taint consumes here. OMG! What if she turns into a abomination during the adventure and you have to kill her.
