Seriously though( as an aside to everyone) it's fine to have reservations, I mean I do myself. I just think the bad has been analyzed to death lately. I don't really care about the degree of anyone's positivity either. If you're only looking forward to one thing and hate everything else, well, just talk about that one thing in this thread then if you want. You don't need to be violently happy about everything.

I'm looking forward to having a voice. I don't play a lot of video games anymore, as I tend to stick to certain types(the ones that remind me of D&D mostly), so I have yet to play a main character that has a voice. In the end I may decide it's not for me, but until then I'm looking forward to it.



Also looking forward to seeing how exactly they made the classes more distinct. Being one that plays a rogue in 99.9% of all play throughs I'm excited to see if I can finally be more rogue like

A Grey Warden can have children, but only with a non-Grey Warden. Two Wardens can never have a child together (under all known circumstances. I suspect blood magic might be helpful here.)



A Grey Warden child NEVER has the taint. They can become ghouls or Grey Wardens, but they do not begin their lives as tainted creatures. The Dark Ritual is an exception: it specifically transfers the taint to the child (likely through blood magic, never mentioned.)

Posititves? Voice over and the dialogue wheel. Voice over because that also means FaceFX (lip synch and expressions) for the player character. Dialogue wheel because it can hold up to 10 options, while DAO only had six. If a DA2 toolset enhancement ever comes out, I will laugh evilly as the dialogue wheel is forced to sumbit to my power...

I hope that the Collector's edition comes with outtakes more like the ones from Jade Empire, or at least some real "making-of" videos. That would be a positive.

I'm looking forward to the new character creation dynamics, plus new hair and new clothes and armors. I'm REALLY looking forward to new romances! I'm also looking forward to Varric. For a dwarf, he's pretty hot. I hope they get a really great voice actor for him, someone like... Gerard Butler or Sean Bean... I know Sean Bean played the bastard prince in TES Oblivion, but he's got a hot voice, darn it.



All in all, I'm looking forward all around to the game. It's going to be so super awesome! I'll probably pee my pants when I can finally hold it in the store.

I'm definately looking forward to new character creation dynamics, I really hope they release a character creator early for this game.

Be careful of Varric, though, I hear he's a heartbreaker. What a scamp.
