So far it is a pretty good flash game (which is saying something because i never really like most flash games i try).

got through the find the missing wardens thing or whatever it is called and liked that little boss fight since I died a few times before getting it.

however, it has no bearing on me getting DA:O (which is already pre-ordered).

I enjoyed it.

I'll likely finish my first Journeys run later this weekend, and then another couple (for the final achievement) over the next couple of weeks.

I have played a little bit, It's not that bad for a flash game I guess. Trying to decide If I want to be an archer or melee fighter.

Apparently shooting normal arrows uses stamina.

I hope I can get it to work in Japan, I tried it from home this morning and all I got was a blank page. At work (US IP address) it works.

How long does a complete playthrough take?

Do you think bows or two handed weapons are stronger? I'm thinking about having my warrior use two handed weapons. I just reach the city...and will play more tommorow.

Bows seem next to worthless to me. Worse than useless actually, since they drain your stamina

They're a decent secondary weapon for those turns before you close to melee range (and if you're stamina is already full), but they're fairly useless for sustained fighting with.

Though, they do have some decent abilities. Crippling shot, for instance.

I have to agree with that. havent gotten too far but im playing a rogue and my bow attacks suck (at most 4 damage... i think)

I'm really liking the warrior and mage though. might stick with that set up and forget the rogue.

It was entertaining but not something I would continue playing especially if i had to keep paying for scenarios and stuff. reminds me of those free online games that you play but then to go anywhere or gain any items you have to pay and pay and pay. I'll stick with the bioware games I can load up and play as often as I want . I did notice the difference between 2hd and swd & board........comes down to damage vs protection So go two handed and get decent armor and items and there dead before you can take any real damage. I didnt understand why the archer could shoot over rocks but the lightning bolt could not............I'd rate it a 6 out of 10 for me.

Ugh, archery was terrible in it, and rogues seem squishier than mages even. Regardless, I had a lot of fun and managed to get the ogre achievement on normal, got a mage playthrough almost done then i think I will try hard with a warrior.

Only good thing about archery to me was getting off a pinning shot before rushing in to melee.

I enjoyed it, but the bard was useless. I still just need to finish my next two playthroughs to get the one achievement I am missing, and I'm not looking forward to playing as a rogue if the bard companion was any indication.

Basically I just ended up spamming mage bolts and dirty fighting for most of the fights. Story is rather weak as flows like Dungeon Siege than what Bioware would produce. Fights oddly enough reminded me of Final Fantasy series. P:

Oh well, 3 free items for a couple hours work isn't all that bad. ;)

I've decided that I won't go rouge in my DA:O playthrough as 2h warrior seems so incredibly overpowered there's no reason to not use it.

I've only just started but so far I'm finding it very enjoyable. It's a great way to spend the days before DA releases, and I'm looking forward to getting further into the game.

The shops are too tempting though. All these expensive things just waiting to be bought and I have next to no money :(

Ah, it was a lot better than I thought it would be! I played as a rougue first, so it took me FOREVER to beat...Because of the archery. T__T So I resorted to mainly using sneak attacks...Which seemed to work out okay, actually.

I really don't care for it, a fine, polished game, but not at all the style of game I enjoy and very frustrating.

BEWARE, Played 5 hours, unlock 2 items out of 3, 4 achievements out of 5. go eat. come back.

Nothing left..... just my char progression was saved, like if I was playing for that!! and customer support is a gmail adress, are you kidding me?? I am not wasting one more with this pile of crap..

To you all who play a long time straight, just log off and back and check if you still get anything, you might have a BIG surprise!

I started and finished my first play-through as a sword&shield warrior. Two-handed weapons are definitely one of the most powerful DPS out there, second only to a backstabbing rogue.

I had the Grey Warden companion keeping her original specialzation - 2-handed weapon. It was ridiculously easy making a 2-handed warrior in this game. All you need to do is max out Str and Willpower, keep an eye out for +Attack items, and you will be able to take down an ogre in a few strikes.

It will be a pain trying to tank with anything but sword&shield though. Without one of those shield-only talents your tank will be easily slaughtered due to flank attacks.

I logged out, turned off computer, restarted broswer a couple of times during my play through. Everything went completely fine for me. I guess that's an individual problem. I do agree that the customer support could have been more organized though, even though I never needed it.

@Rogues

Archery is really terrible in this game. Try backstabbing, it's more than a little overpowered. I got my mage companion one-shotted by a rogue's backstab once. :(

As a backstabbing rogue, you don't need to sneak to someone's back and backstab. You can just walk to his back during your turn, even if he's right in front of you, and stabbity stab the enemy to critical death.

Shopping Tip: Everytime you reload the game, the shop will be restocked with different items.
