Orlesian Wardens generated by GoA start at level 20.
Thanks! Good to know. Same starting gear as Awakenings?

Stave: The Dragon's Call
Head: Grey Warden Cowl
Hands: Elementalist's Grasp
Body: Grey Warden Robes
Feet: Magus War Boots
Belt: Andruil's Blessing
Amulet: The Spellward
Ring 1: Key to the City
Ring 2: Brother Bedine's Mnemonic
Brother Bedine's Mnemonic simply increases all Elemental damage by 10%.

first enchange cowl 10%
armor from leliana's song 15%
cailins boots 20%
spell ward 10%
arcane shield 25%??
my spellpower was like 230 or something ridiculus so with vuln hex, my stave was hitting for huge damage, I use staves with fire damage cause it hurts everything except rage demons. The staff from beneath vigils keeps does the most damage.
basically everyone died and I just stood there and pummuled him with staff damage and clicked on the switch to kill off the skeletons which were actually tougher than the harverter cause they hit a couple of them hit really hard!!

ENOUGH WITH THE 'LEVEL 35 WARDEN' ****! NOT EVERYONE HAS A FSCKING LEVEL 35 WARDEN OF EVERY FSCKING class! GIVE ME ADVICE FOR THE DAMN ORLESIAN WARDEN OR TELL ME THAT I'M FSCKED UNTIL I MAKE A LEVEL 35 WARDEN!
In the beginning of the battle use the switch.

u can beat her with a new DW dagger warrior warden, i did that but it was barely. just try not to use any potions before u fight her. and make sure to look in every little corner so u can get all the runes potions and poisons etc.
I don't doubt you can use such a Warden, but everyone here kept saying how easy it was with a Mage. I just tried it, and after roughly 20 minutes, I got the thing down to half health. Then I died because Skeletons kept spawning without the room turning red. I'd literally get one Arcane Bolt off, then I'd have to concentrate on running. Even then, I'd kill them with the next one, and more would immediately spawn.
The difficulty spike here is stupid. Whoever came up with it needs to be shot, drawn, and quartered. And not neccessarily in that order.

So you purchased a DLC that specifically says "This adventure is extremely challenging. Recommended for experienced players," and then start complaining when it gets difficult and willing pain on its creator?
Real classy...

Personally, I pref the battles getting to the Thaig, as well as the Lil Song DLC encounters.

I didn't want to have to do this, but I actually don't feel annoyed, since I have a couple of goals to go for.
