Hey, Last Darkness. What system do you have? I was under the impression that you were on the 360, but you talk about having the full Blackblade set in another thread, so...
Im a Sick man I used to have it on 360, but I grabbed the Digital deluxe edition for PC when it was 40% off in the bioware store so I got basicaly collectors edition+awakening for $35.
On the 360 I used my Mage Warden from Origens Spirit Healer+Blood Mage. I transfered into Awakening and played far enough that I could hit the vendors in the keep and amaranthine where I baught plenty of provisions and manuals of focus. You pretty much need at least two to fix Jerrik and Brogans Stats/Skill selections.
I was supporting my party as much as I could during that game and buffing/debuffing as much as possible.
What I found worked for me was Jerrik in Evons+Wades as a melee rogue(Archer may have bene better but he did so much more damage) and I had Brogan in the 100% Magic Immunity Templar setup. It was by no means fast but It got done with only like 20 total wipes. Also make sure you use everything to your advantage duringa few fights I found it better to setup my own ambushes and such and even used some traps to shut some guys down temporarly.
The hardest thing I would have to say was configuring Jerrik and Brogans Tactics to be effective, that took awile.
That was my 360 run on Nightmare at least.
On PC I ran through with a two hand spec Warden at lvl 35 on Nightmare. (Note this taught me that the enemies scale drasticaly per level of your Warden) that one took forever but I was able to do it eventualy.

2 in Spirit Healer
1 in Ice
1 in Lightning
1 in Healing
1 in Glyphs
4 in Death
4 in Telekinesis
4 in Debilitation
4 in Hexes
Basically, I would stack vulnerability and affliction hexes and then use both virulent walking bomb and crushing prison for the DoT. This pisses off the boss quite a bit, so I spent most of my time running and healing. I focused most of my healing on the Warden and the golem, because both have group heal. If one of the dwarves needed healing, I either had them use a health poultice or used a group heal (or both in a few cases). The golem has a fairly decent stamina recovery rate, so you can use his group heal frequently. The skeletons are the biggest threat, so use mass paralysis if they start to overwhelm you. Save force field for the orange skeletons, and try to save glyph of paralysis and the single paralysis for yellow skeletons. Whenever the world turns red and the switch appears, wait for 2-3 seconds before activating it, because a skeleton or two usually spawns right after the switch appears. In phase two, Harvestor will sometimes skuttle off somewhere for a short amount of time, so use that time to focus-fire any skeletons to death. Takes about 15 minutes from start to finish.
Don't forget to use animate dead, by the way. It's not critical that you have a skeleton up at all times, but having one gives you another damage sponge and a little bit of breathing room.

Spirit Healer/Battlemage for their spec bonuses
All points into Magic
Arcane Bolt Line - 4
Spirit Healer - 1
Heal - 1
Spell Wisp - 1
Mana Drain - 3
Walking Bomb - 3
Mind Blast - 1
Vulnerability Hex - 2
That covers the basics, giving me two Healing spells, Vulnerability Hex, Affliction Hex, and Virulent Walking bomb. I start off with 105 Spellpower, then stack Spell Wisp and Spell Might to boost it up to 138. From there, I go into the fight. Use Affliction Hex and Vulnerability Hex, then hit him with Virulent Walking Bomb. Heal when needed, and run around a lot.
I'm actually getting excellent damage from my Staff, but don't have the time to focus on the Harvester in the later half, so I'll see if Virulent changes anything.

I'm doing something similar myself, but I'm a lot more basic. Here's what I do:

Crowd control makes or breaks that fight for a mage. Forcefield buys you 15-20 seconds against an orange skeleton, and they are the ones that hit as hard as the boss. Misdirection Hex, if it lands, also helps significantly against the boss and orange/yellow skeletons. Overall though, I suppose its the same basic strategy. Just remember to heal before you need it. Better to use a heal at 70% health then to save it for 30-40% health.

kinda dumb but a cheap trick may be to Kite them with that aura that slows guys down while you have haste? The harvester isnt the problem usualy its those damn skeletons with Perfect Striking and 100% armor penetration.
