I was wondering how plausible it would be to add a checklist to a profile's friends list so that one may allow or disallow updates from whomever they choose. This way we don't lose updates we might not want to miss when our feed is clogged with repetitious posts to the same threads.
It used to be asked people to clean up after themselves if they frequently posted to the same thread in a short span of time, but I never felt comfortable doing that as it feels demanding. It would be easier to filter out what I don't want to see. Perhaps it could even be made specific. I.e.; one could choose to see only group posts or only poll responses, or a combination of things while ommitting others. I have no idea if any of this is possible, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. Thanks for reading.
