Me: They're really worried that your chest hair in-game won't live up to the hype.

Varric: You can't blame them for this, Kirby. These folks have been suffering under a chest hair shortage for years now. Decades, even.  I mean, it's putting a lot of pressure on me to lead them out of the Desert of Hairlessness and into the promised land, but I'll live with that. I'm taking one for the team so that Hawke can go do that hero thing or whatever without carrying this heavy burden.

Me: That's a noble sacrifice.

Varric: Yeah. I'm just that kind of guy, what can I say?

At the moment, the human male model does have hair on its chest. However, no one else in the game, not Hawke, not anyone, is outfitted with an uncloseable shirt quite like Varric's. It's as if they didn't think their chests needed to breathe...

I'm very late to this thread, but Mary's post reminded me: Felicia Day stopped by the Comic-con demo to play, and I happened to glance over to see her scrubbing her hand over the screen as she looked to her friend and said, I kid you not, "Ohmygod, chest hair!!"

I couldn't tell if she was enthralled, horrified or trapped somewhere between.
