Me: They're really worried that your chest hair in-game won't live up to the hype.

Varric: You can't blame them for this, Kirby. These folks have been suffering under a chest hair shortage for years now. Decades, even.  I mean, it's putting a lot of pressure on me to lead them out of the Desert of Hairlessness and into the promised land, but I'll live with that. I'm taking one for the team so that Hawke can go do that hero thing or whatever without carrying this heavy burden.

Me: That's a noble sacrifice.

Varric: Yeah. I'm just that kind of guy, what can I say?

Does this mean Mike Hawke will not have chest hair? Kind of disappointed, but if this means more time and resources will be allocated to crafting each perfect strand of Varric's lush chest rug.... *goes to her happy place*

At the moment, the human male model does have hair on its chest. However, no one else in the game, not Hawke, not anyone, is outfitted with an uncloseable shirt quite like Varric's. It's as if they didn't think their chests needed to breathe...

Tablet and Photoshop if you're talking about the Aimo comics (I assume Photoshop anyway).

@Mary: You say that like it's unexpected. It would be cruel to deny everyone the sight of The One Chest. It's only humane to give him an uncloseable shirt.

Something tells me that the characters' chests will be breathing just fine about a few hours after modders get their hands on the game.

Having Varric in your party will make a new conversation branch called the "Varric Persuade" basicly he rips open his shirt and shows the person his chest hair. 100% chance of success, never fails even if you weren't even trying to convince the person of something

I'm old-school. None of this technology for me. I just use pens and then scan it into the computer and then finish it in Photoshop.

I have to say that I'm not a dwarf fangirl.  But Varric has such epic attitude that it's patently impossible to not love him.
