Gone With the Dwarf is a masterpiece that is often lost on today's young audiences. It really is a shame
Especially since Varric really fits in the role of Clark Gable as a shirtless legend .

The battle was quite epic.

Darth Varric, Hawke's once-best friend, was on the verge of winning. If not for Hawke's clever usage of some obscure fight move that Varric himself had taught him years ago, the whole of Thedas would have surely been lost. Wiping blood from his eyes, Hawke approached the fallen dwarf.

"Don't come any closer!" Varric yelled through pain, and Hawke suddenly stopped, as the merchant was dragging himself to the opening of the Pit of Trolls.

"Varric, it doesn't have to end this way," Hawke calmly stated "there's still time".

"Not for me."

Varric gasped, and then his head came to rest, lingering over the open pit. He could hear the whispers of the Trolls down below: "you can only play as humans"... "true RPG"... "BioWare is lying to you"....

Hawke knelt before his fallen frenemy, and extended his hand.

"Take it."

Varric heartily grabbed the middle of Hawke's arm, and pulled him in close.

"Hawke," Varric sputtered "Before I go... there is something you need to know".

He whispered ever so lightly in Hawke's ear. Hawke's eyes went wide. He pulled away, and stared at Varric.

"... you did what to my sister?"

Varric leapt into the Pit of Trolls as he heard the whispers of congratulations all around him.
