No ickyness intended. They're just the only 3 present on every single HP movie poster and Varric had to be center stage. He is the title character afterall

Take it as slashy fanfic retelling where Ron ends up with Cedric Diggory that way Ginger!Hawke (Ron HAD to be Hawke so that Ginger!Hawke could be born) ends up with Some Elf.

I can barely imagine what this thread will come up with once we have some proper material to work with.
