I couldn't tell if she was enthralled, horrified or trapped somewhere between.

Yeah it was probably both at the same time, sort of like being gently caressed by something that doesn't feel entirely pleasent but you can't put your finger on why.

Wow I think I have actually gotten some sort of brain damage from some of the stuff over the past 60+ pages, this is all sounding so sensible now.
