So I can't figure out the puzzle in the VERY beginning of being in Amgarrak and I can't figure out how to get into the center room or the door that leads up that's blocked by a field as well. It doesn't matter which switch I'm hitting they stay blocked? I hit the one in room with the big ball and I hit the two in the room that doesn't have a map outlining them. If someone could help I'd really apprechiate it. Thanks!

Since you've already gotten into the room that's off the map, head there when in the real world (no colored mist). Hit the switch in the middle of the room (the one you hit when you got in the room for the first time). That switch actually turns things purple, which will let you through the barrier in the middle room, and into that small room you've been passing all this time.

You have to be in the "Phase" color corsponding to the barrier colors.
