Will this be expanded on in future DLC/Expansions/Games? Or was it just a throwback to Bruce Campbell-esque B-movies?
About the ending to Golems of Amgarrak (no spoilers)...

Good question. Perhaps a new enemy type in DA2? Would be strange to end the DLC like that and never use it.

Considering they've already stated that (at least some) DLC choices/characters will have consequences in DA2, I'd be shocked if they didn't use this. It was also written by Sheryl Chee, who's one of DA2's main writers.

This is also the first definitive content that takes place after the events of Awakening.
So currently its Timeline Wise.
Leilanas Song
Begin Origens
-Wardens Keep
-Stone Prisoner
-Return to Ostagar
End Origens
-Alternate Darkspawn Triumphant Ending with Darkspawn Chronicles.
Begin Awakening
End Awakening
-Post Awakening Golems of Amgarrok
Im curious how far forward we will see with future DLC. (Hopefully Awakening gets at least one DLC)
We have Confirmation from reviews and interviews theres a Morrigan DLC coming and one thats gonna be released to prep Dragon Age 2 launch.
*EDIT*
Yes we do have confirmation that choices in DLC will carry over with the rest of your choices if you import your data to Dragon Age 2.

I mean, not that there were any choices in GoA anyway, so I think its fair to say it'll crop up regardless of imported character. You're playing a different character anyway.

Not to mention it was highly sanitized by the fantasy RPG setting. We've already seen walking corpses, abominations, and the like in this series.

I still don't understand how all this fits in to the greater theme of the Blight. Are the harvesters a type of Darkspawn? Or is the warden just another Ghostbuster living in a medieval world?

Does the Harvestors remind anyone else of those little cannibel things and their mother in Jade Empire. For some strange reason they just seemed simliar to me. I don't really know why, but sense both games were made by Bioware hey you never know.

Just realized that this DLC ends very similarly to ME2. Hmmm.

Well, for a topic that says no spoilers... I'll just link it. This is what the Harvester is. It is a threat completely separate from the Blight.

The only thing I'm wondering is if the creature we fight is the only boss.
If not,it's a very lame ending which basically says: scr.w the Blight, this is the apocalypse.

The man speaks the truth! what if?!
would be very sinister and awesome if it was the reason.
This DLC was quite good.
It was WAY too short and could of had a longer run time by far. The whole color thing made the entire dlc a puzzle, which i like. The DLC is very challenging, and after taking several attempts to kill the Harvester on hard, I can see why it has a seperate achievement. This IS a good thing. they promised a challenge and delivered with great satisfaction from me. At the moment, i hate BioWare's lack of support and i hate that they have announced DA:2 while DA:O has still many bugs. This, however, can be temporarily forgiven .. for a couple of days
and, i personally LOVED the ending. quite chilling. imagine fighting that many?

I guess this screenshot from the Dragon Age 2 trailer answers this question:

The dlc was disappointing just like everything else BioWare has released since Warden's peak. But thanks for flipping me off on your way to producing DA2. Really appreciated that.
