I recently ordered Mass Effect from Amazon.  The picture of the cover on the site looked like a regular US PC-DVD copy like I wanted.  What I got is a copy that was meant for Great Britain or possibly Canada.  It has the BBFC mark on it.

My question is, will this work on my US hardware?  I ask because I know about different region DVDs and I don't know if this also applies to games.

Yes, you could even order a japanese copy and play the game. You'd have to learn japanese though.



PCs don't have any regional limits like consoles or movie DVDs. Never had.

It might apply to console versions of the game, however PC is free of it.
