Hello!

For my birthday I got 2 Amex gift cards, one for 25 and one for 50 dollars. I really would love to be able to purchase Warden's Keep with one of those cards, but it seems they do not work for purchasing points? Am I missing something or can you not use a Visa/Amex gift card to buy points on the store? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got a Visa Gift Card for $25.00

That got me a $20.00 buy of 1600 points which I then downloaded the Warden's Keep. That left me with less than enough for the other D/L.

So, I went to purchase the $5.00 for 400 points but I kept getting refused.

I checked with the website that I activated the Card from and it showed

Purchase - EA.com for the $20.00 BUT there was also a

FEE of $1.00 for purchasing thru ELECTRONIC ARTS INC in REDWOOD CITY, CA.

I paid a fee for BUYING the card at the store

and now i paid another fee to use the damn card.

so that sucks with ONLY $4 and NOT $5 left on the card

hey sir sometimes with cards when buying something the place your buying from will make a charge of 1 buck to see if the card is good but they refund the buck so try it again .and also so you had no problem useing a visa gift card then ??

i tried buying points the other night fill everything out went to purchase and got a failed to verify card

well i tried again tonight wanted to make sure there was money on the card so i checked and guess what there was a 1 dollar charge that was taken off me card be EA .seems strange how it worked for the one dollar but not the other purchases. so i tried again and same msg failed to varify card oh but i bet they took another dollar .what are we just suposed to help each other some help please

Am I missing something?  Why would anybody need to purchase the Stone Prisoner at this point?  I thought everyone that bought the game got it for free?

I bought the game, and the Stone Prisoner is DLC only, which I'd have to purchase, so I guess I won't be doing that quest line. I don't use my cc's online for any reason, old fashioned, I know, but I promised my hubby.
Edit to add:
I'm now an official doofus....after thinking about the above poster saying Stone Prisoner was free with the purchase of the game, I looked again and yes, found the code. I was so excited to play the game that I never turned the card over with the Dragon Blood Armor code on it. The code for Stone Prisoner was on the other side of that card.....(wish they had a slap my head for not thinking emote)

I wish i knew but if they produced the codes they would most likeley be sold at gamestop, grocery stores & conveiniance store like 7/11

Well I couldn't buy it with the gift card directly, instead i used paypal and put in the prepaids cards number in when it asked for a credit card, i think it over charged me though, but i haven't had the time to look into it (either that, or theres a fee to combine a card with a paypal account)

there should be like ea/bioware game cards instead of having to buy the points with visa or paypal so u can buy like a card and get a certian amount of points and have a code from the card to redeem or something
