Hi to all,

I'm new to this game that I like very much.

However, It seems to me I've a problem whith the spell casting mechanism, particularly the ones that target a single foe.

Bug or something I missed ?

I explain:

For example: usually at the begining of a fight I cast "Winter Grasp".
I left-click the spell icon in the sortcut bar, than the cursor changes into a small target, than I left click on the enemy and everything goes fine.

But next, when I try again "Winter Grasp' (with plenty of mana and after the cooldown), when I left click on the spell icon, the cursor stays a little sword. I reclick on the spell icon, but still the cursor stays a sword.
Eventually I do not cast Winter Grasp but I perfrom a basic attack.

Stangely, if I try another spell targeting a target (Desorient for example) I've the same kind of problem..
But if I cast another kind of spell: AoE (Cone of Fire or Fireball) or Heal, I've no problem !!

I play using "Pause" and Tactics are disabled for my PC.

Btw I've the same problem with Morrigan for example.

Is there any explanaition ?

Uncertain, but if the initial target is still alive, this will continue to be your target. Try clicking on the new target before casting the next spell. and see if that works.

Btw, was not clearly explained in the manual...
